Tamaryn Apartments

I have only lived at Tamaryn for three months, but so far I have been extremely satisfied. They have an assortment of two story town houses and single level duplexes. I live in one of the two bedroom duplexes. It is in good condition, the carpet seems relatively new/​well cared for. The grounds are kept up well. Each unit has a private fenced back yard, which is maintained by their landscaping team, but you are still welcome to plant things in the yard and work in it yourself as well. There are several community gardening spaces available as well for vegetable gardens.
The property manager here is very friendly and very helpful. I recently had a falling out with Bank of America (the worst bank ever, as it turns out) and they held my paycheck for 14 days before posting it to my account, which made me two weeks late paying my rent, and I explained it to the property manager and she was very understanding and even waived the standard late fee.
The only reason I am not giving Tamaryn 5 stars is because the property manager here manages another property at another location, so sometimes she is difficult to track down, as she is often at her other property. Also, for major maintenance issues, such as when my refrigerator broke, they got that fixed the very next day. For minor things, it seems to take a bit longer. One of my closets was missing the bar that the hangers hang on, and it took several weeks before I could get that put in, but it really wasn’t a big issue.
Overall, this is a very pleasant place to live, it is a nice, quiet family-​friendly neighborhood with good neighbors and a great property manager and groundskeepers. The units are well cared for and in good condition. It is also in a convenient location, tucked back far enough to feel comfortable, but still with easy access to 99 and I-​5. I would definitely recommend Tamaryn to others.
