Teascape is a full-on pleasurable sensory experience in a fantastic location! I’ve been to plenty of spas including Dosha, Massage Envy, and many independent places and Teascape surpasses them all. Why? Because they have the right vibe, friendly and knowledgeable staff, and excellent practitioners. My massage table was heated, the blankets were soft and fluffy, the music and lighting were what I wanted. The practitioner was good about communication and focused on the areas I wanted him to. Go check out Teascape!

Ashley has a heated massage table. So that’s basically amazing. On top of that, she’s really good. I type a lot, so my wrists hurt, and I sit around a lot while I’m typing so my back hurts, and she really worked those areas when I told her about that. No other masseuse has worked on my wrists as well as she has. I’m going to find out if my insurance will cover massage, because they do take insurance.

I’ve been a client of Ashley’s for about 4 years. She has an incredible knack for knowing how to relieve the pain and tension in my entire body caused from my scoliosis. She also gives great advice about stretching and every day things to relieve chronic pain. I’ve been to number our massage therapists over the years some causing me more pain than relief, and no one is as good as Ashley. Teascape is also quite serene, clean and beautiful. The décor and ambiance are wonderful, I plan to visit for tea soon.

First time experience of having Ashiatsu massage and it was even better than expected. Angel did an amazing job of sharing what to expect, checking on pressure and comfort throughout the massage, and she made any adjustments needed to better work with the needs of my body(having not had any type of massage for some time let alone a form that can provide even deeper tissue work). I scheduled my next Ashiatsu session that day before leaving TeaScape.

Teascape is a new and wonderful space for massage and relaxing with a cup of tea. Teascape’s creator, Ashley, has been my massage therapist for about 4 years. Bottom line: Ashley is a very knowledgeable, gifted, skilled and«present» massage therapist. She has the extraordinary knack of being able to sense and find the specific and sometimes hidden places that need attention without me saying a thing. I have experienced about 25 massage therapists in my lifetime and Ashley is my favorite. I see her about once every 10 days on average and she has been a core contributor to the recent transformation of my physical and energetic self. Through change of diet, yoga and Ashley’s care I have gone from being a soft 210 lbs to a surprisingly trim, strong and flexible 165 lb(58 year old) man. I have also had a string of mishaps; broken ribs, broken collar bone, pulled bicep, pulled hamstring and torn shoulders. Ashley’s sensitive and rigorous attention to all of these boo boos has helped me recover quickly and return to pain free goodness. Ashley is supremely good at what she does.

I was able to try another therapist named Bre at TeaScape the other day. Her demeanor is quiet and serene. Her technique is really interesting and effective. She incorporated a lot of gentle stretching and micro-movements as she analyzed my muscle’s capabilities and limitations. She seems very intuitive. I was able to see how my lack of stretching has diminished my muscle range over the last couple years. She also gave me a lead that hadn’t even occurred to me on a particular group of muscles that might be causing a lot of increased tension in my neck and shoulders. She sent me home with a couple of exercises that I can do during the day and I look forward to seeing how they might help me regain some of my flexibility. She really got me to thinking about how even small steps can be enough to make a big difference in my overall health in the future. Oh yeah, and it was also super relaxing. :) It is cool that the therapists at TeaScape have such unique styles.

I’ve been a client of Teascape’s owner, Ashley, for a few years now. She is a top-notch massage therapist, and I’m very excited that she has started her own business. The environment is serene and relaxing. There’s a spacious waiting area for before and after appointments, and the facilities are very clean. Parking is free and easy. I have always been able to park within a ½ block of the entrance. Ashley is truly the best at what she does. I’m a active person that carries a lot of muscle tension. She has worked with me on neck, back, hip, and IT band issues. I can’t say enough good things and highly recommend getting a massage at Teascape!

I have been going to see Ashley for at least five years and I’m glad she finally has opened her own space! The location: I was initially concerned that I’d hear a lot of street noise during my massage but that wasn’t a problem at all. There is a great waiting area to relax before and after, and there is plenty of free parking(always a plus) The massage: Ashley’s work has always been fantastic. I race bikes and have a lot of tight muscles in my legs and back. She always knows where to get to work even if I’m not very good at describing exactly what is going on. I personally prefer a massage with a lot of pressure and she never fails to deliver. She also provides information about stretches that I should be doing in between massages(which I of course forget to do). Overall I’m very happy she has this new location with great hours so that her wonderful services are more available than ever. Bonus: the haircut place next door is also really good.

I have been a client of Ashley Mueller for at least five years. She was recommended as someone who could help me with longtime scars from extensive skin grafts. I wish I had taken before and after photos. She has been able to give me amazing mobility, soften and reduce keloids, flatten scars, and increase blood flow and sensitivity to scarred areas. Beyond that, in each visit, she addresses the many aches and pains of an aging body, with amazing accuracy and great results. Ashley is a sensitive and knowledgeable massage therapist with extraordinary understanding of and interest in human anatomy. TeaScape is a beautiful space to experience a truly transforming and life-giving experience through massage.

Ashley — the owner of TeaScape — is easily the best massage therapist in Portland. I started going to Ashley after I had ankle surgery, and after I quit physical therapy because it wasn’t hardcore enough. I found myself in need of somebody with strong hands who knew everything about ankle/foot anatomy, and could get my muscles loose and blood flowing. My first session with Ashley I asked her, «should I show you where it’s tight?» «No,» she says, «I’ll find it». I loved her cockiness… because she was RIGHT. She avoided the places I told her were still really sensitive from surgery, and went to town on the super tight post-surgery spots. Ashley’s hands are so intuitive… and her elbows… I think… half the time I have no idea what part of her body she’s using on me. She’s strong, smart, and will listen to what you want. Even though I began going to her for my broken ankle, I’ve had her work on my legs, butt, shoulders, neck, jaw, low back… she also does a mean arm and hand massage. I’m telling you, this chick is INSANELYSKILLED. Oh, and if you’ve had surgery, she’s also EXCELLENT at scar massage(which you’ll need at some point and it’s really hard and gross to do yourself). Oh, she’s also incredible for postpartum massage. Sensitive, strong… have I mentioned she’s intuitive?! The TeaScape space is gorgeous — peaceful — beautifully designed. A true sanctuary.

New spot — yet experienced practitioners running the place and practicing! Courteous front desk personnel, clean and spacious, and health oriented. I feel relaxed entering and sitting in the space. Ashley is amazing and I ditto what other reviews have said about Angel — both amazing at intelligent deep tissue massage.

I got an Ashiatsu massage from Angel. It was my first massage outside of basic 15 minute chair massages. Angel did an incredible job and I left feeling so relaxed and energized. She found spots that were overly tight and needed work that I didn’t even know about. She really did a great job of making me feel comfortable, too. The Ashiatsu technique was great for really getting pressure and deep tissue work throughout my back and even my legs. I would recommend Angel and TeaScape to anyone. After my massage I had a nice cup of tea to help me continue to relax and it was a great overall experience.
