The food cart Teepee is very intruiging in the way it serves Native American food. They make their mark by making multiple dishes out of frybread, including, but not limited to, pizza and tacos. Prices are moderate. Such offerings can be eaten in a heated tent.
There have now been two times that I have experienced here. The first was just to have some cinnamon frybread. It was very sweet, perhaps too sweet for some, but it was good. I’d probably put it in the freezer in order not to have all that sugar at once. Later on, I had their pizza, which is good at six dollars. It was not too sweet, but it was competent as a pizzeria is. This is still is that gimmick which it appears to be, but it was executed moderately well. Remember, all these dishes include frybread in some way.
This is good as a diversion on Division.

i am so happy i found this place on Unilocal.i love love fry bread and since i don’t know how to make it i gotta wait for pow wow’s or go out to the rez to get it.
i got the indian taco and it was one of the best indian tacos i ever had. the fry bread was cooked perfectly. i love that there is a food truck in portland that has fry bread.
its a 30 min drive from my house but its well worth the drive.

Disappointed this evening. I grew up with Indian tacos as I lived near Tulalip, and had a very positive experience with this place once before. We went here on a whim as we were trying NOT to use Unilocal as our guide, and as mentioned were disappointed with the quality this time. Fry bread isn’t supposed to be thick and doughy. The meat and salsa ratio to taco was dismal.
I want to say this was a «one off» experience, but my stomach is telling me otherwise.

Ahhhhmaaaazing! I have waited for a long time to try this place and now I am wondering what took me so long. Super friendly owner and great fry bread tacos. Try the Indian toes, too! My son’s favorite!

Hot and delicious! That’s the way to describe the Indian toes at teepee. We were totally confused by the number of choices here. On the suggestion of the owners, we settled for the powdered sugar version. It turned out to be a good choice.

Update: Came by for dessert. But, after talking with owner about the salsa I got such a craving for something savory. So, I decided to give the Super Dog another go. I’m so glad I did! The updated salsa: Now that’s what I call sabor! Didn’t have to be spicy, the flavor was all there. Order with confidence.

Delicious! I wasn’t sure what to expect, as this was my first time trying fry bread, but the bread itself was incredibly tasty and soft. I got the «taco» with beans, cheese, lettuce and tomato and wow, I could have easily split this with someone else and still been full. I hope to come back and try the hot dogs wrapped in fry bread and the sweet kinds with fruit or sugar.

Teepee’s placed a number of Easter Eggs around the property which thrilled my boys. Each of the eggs had a chocolate and a coupon for free Indian Toes. The woman we spoke with was so kind and pleasant with the kids. I was expecting a sample size but each of them were given a whole bag. I was impressed by the deliciousness and quantity of the breads and cheeriness of the staff.
While waiting for the order I looked over the menu and I will be back to order the Lakota Sunrise. Fry bread, peaches and raspberries? Whoa yes.

So soft and fluffy and delicious!!! We had the supreme taco. Great flavor and perfect texture. Also the garlic toes. Real garlic flavor. Got the marinara to go with those. Also got the raspberry toes for dessert. Everything was PERFECT

This place is amazing. I have not been to this food cart hub before so was excited to try something new. This was the first cart we stopped by and was impressed.
As previously mentioned in other reviews, while we were trying to decide what to order, the friendly lady in the food truck offered us a free sample of the Indian toes. Fried bread with powdered sugar on top. My mind went to beignets straight away and they tasted a little similar but pretty awesome. To me they were bite size beignets. A must try if you like sweets.
On the savory front we tried the Indian taco and that along with the salsa was both tasty and refreshing. The Indian taco you get here is not your traditional taco, it has fried bread which was soft and light, and greens on top along with beans. The whole combination is wonderful. I would have it again.

So my review is a bit biased because the first time I visited Teepee’s the owner gave me my soda for free and then handed me a huge bag of garlic «Indian Toes» for free while I waited for my pop-​over. He wouldn’t even let me offer to pay for them.
The food is delicious, and you can tell that everything is made to order. Portion sizes are very large, so the cheap cost of eating there has always covered me for two meals! It’s the only A La Carts food cart that I return to, because all my other options pale in comparison to a delicious fry bread and some Indian Toes.

This place is awesome! I was standing outside trying to figure out what I wanted, having never had fry bread before I wasn’t sure what I wanted. The guy who greeted me was very friendly and asked if I would like a sample.
In just a few short minutes he comes back with a whole plate full! I was almost too full to enjoy what I ended up ordering– which was delicious as well.
Friendly service, delicious food and served extremely fast for a decent price.
Will definitely be going back!

This place was super yummy! Word to the wise: 2 adults could easily split one indian taco. It’s basically a giant tostada the size of a large plate. My husband and I each ordered one, plus some sweet fry bread with berry sauce, and it was A LOT of food. We’ll be having leftovers for dinner (not that I’m complaining…). Enjoy!

How do you take an already unhealthy pizza and crank it up a notch to a new level of artery clogging fun? Put it on a fry bread!
I ordered the pepperoni pizza from this fry bread specialist food truck and was pleasantly surprised how delicious it was. I’ve always thought the crust on a pizza is just as important as the toppings, and this crust was sinfully tasty. Very soft with a slight sweetness to it. My friend commented that it tasted like a Totino’s pizza, and I would have to agree.
I was so glad I was sharing it with a few people. It was probably as bad as pizza can get (nutritionally speaking that is). Definitely a must try at least once though.

I stopped by this food truck park after doing dinner at the great little Ethiopian restaurant across the street. I was looking for something to quickly satisfy my sweet tooth before heading to the airport. I found Teepee’s! I ordered the Indian Toes (none of that PC for them) and was handed a GIANT bag of fried dough bits covered in cinnamon and sugar. They were absolutely delicious. Better than an elephant ear from Saturday Market even. And it was $ 3 for the entire bag. I ended up handing the bag off to another family eating there, as there was no way I’d be able to consume that much sugar and fat in one sitting… although I certainly tried.

I ordered a Crazy Indian and the lady said to me «you can have one, but you can’t have mine… res joke.» So funny, my sister was questioning if they were Native Americans because they make ridiculously good frybread. What’s a Crazy Indian? It’s essentially a deep fried Snicker bar but in frybread, need I say more? Heavenly! Some of my other favorites are the taco frybread and just plain frybread with honey on top. Glad to see that they have more consistent hours and you don’t have to drive to Eastern Oregon to find it.
