Super solid northern Argentina style empanadas! Derek, the owner, is always friendly. Great spot and is also open late!

I came late at midnight, and the service was friendly and there was barely any wait time. The food was easy, and fast which was what I wanted! But also tasty. The guy at the truck was friendly and didn’t mind me coming at a later time. I got the veggie empanada which was good. A little too loose and didn’t have much structure but was yummy. I also got the chicken sandwich. It was hearty, filling and tasty. I would recommend for someone in the area that wants something unique and to eat!

These are some bomb eats here! We tried a couple of items with everything getting 2 thumbs up! Everything is cooked to eat so you get nice and hot food when served. The guy running the truck was really nice and welcoming. The empanadas were a little small imo but 2 for $ 5 or 3 for $ 7 wasn’t too bad. The veggie empanada was so full of flavor. I think the veggies were roasted prior to being added to the empanada. The crust so golden and crispy but not crunchy so it was perfect. The classic empanada was good too but the veggie beats it by a hair. The milanesa napolitana sandwich was on point. Full of flavor, no soggy bread with just the right amount of sauce. The chicken was juicy and crisp on the outside. The ham really added some nice flavor and the tomato sauce pulled it all together quite nicely. I really enjoyed the sandwich as well as the empanadas and both dipping sauces. I definitely want to come back to try their other sandwich that got rave reviews, it just didn’t seem like a dinner meal which was why we went with the one we did. Not sure why it didn’t get as many reviews on it b/c it’s really tasty. Some reviews started the pricing was a little high. Not sure if it’s b/c we just moved from Vegas but got everything we got and the quality of the food, I thought pricing was pretty fair.

Cool spot to hit up when you’re on Alberta on a late night. $ 7 for 3 empanadas not a bad deal. Seasoned fries where a hit for me!

The Imp and Nada makes a decent sandwich full of protein and veggies. It’s a little pricy for what you’re getting, but it’s not bad. The Lomito Completo came with steak, ham, cheddar, lettuce, tomato, mayonnaise, onion, chimichurri, and a fried egg. Normally I don’t go for a sandwich with so many ingredients, but the wannabe salad seemed necessary to balance out the meat and egg on a hot night. Let’s break it down. The best parts of the sandwich were definitely the steak and the chimichurri. The steak was super-tender and cooked to a good temperature. The chimichurri was herbaceous and worked well with the meat, though I wished there was more of it. As for the ham, it would’ve been nicer had they griddled it, though it wasn’t bad. Thinly sliced, not overwhelming. The egg was fried over medium and worked well with the other proteins in the sandwich. The veggies worked reasonably well(the fresh leaf lettuce, in particular), but this sandwich still needed brightening up. Maybe a citrus aioli would help, or something pickled. Or making it more like a chivito by adding olives. Or just with more chimichurri. Also, the cheddar felt a bit out of place. Perhaps an Italian or Spanish cheese might’ve worked better. This was served on a relatively small mini-baguette, which sometimes struggled to contain all of the ingredients. The Imp and Nada isn’t bad, by any stretch of the imagination, but if I’m going to drop $ 8 on a sandwich, steak or not, it better be really good. The lomito completo was solid, but nothing stood out so much as to make it special. Perhaps the empanadas are a better bet. I’d try this place again, given the skill with which they cooked the steak and made the chimichurri, but I’m not sure I’d order the lomito again, as it was, overall, pretty average.

Wow! Delicious, made to order, piping hot empanadas. But what really made it great was the insanely good handmade cream cheese frosting that came on the side. I’d take this over Voodoo any day.

I’m a big fan of this place. He hand-makes each empanada and they are fab. My wife loves buff chicken and I like the caprese and roasted veggies. Solid place.

First time trying this place and I highly recommend it. I got the lomito completo and the classic empanada. I can safely say you won’t be disappointed in either. The lomito is especially good with a great garlic aioli and a delicious chimichurri. The fried egg is great in there and the meat has a great seasoning and tenderness. Basically I need another one asap. Try this place now.
