The Lotus Seed

I love this place! It’s small and personal and all of the instructors have been wonderful. I feel comfortable and welcome here. The classes are great and I feel so good afterwards! I definitely recommended this little place for all levels! Help support the community and take some classes here!!!

I enjoyed the few yoga classes I took at this small studio. It seems like they have something for everyone at a great price. The instructors were good at explaining poses and the classes were all different. I would go back if I still lived downtown since it’s right across the Broadway bridge in NE.

The space itself is gorgeous and for rent for a good price should you need a gothic church for… something. Normally it is used as a yoga studio. A friend rented out the space and a group of us were aiding in the event. On one hand casual is good and the space and people had a peace about them. On the other hand homeless people kept wandering in during what was supposed to be an elegant event and after grilling the people working the door for the event would ask if so and so was there since apparently an insane number of people live in the upstairs. Setting up for the event and having roommates showering in the one bathroom or making their lunch in the one kitchen space was just a bit strange and felt very intrusive. I cannot comment on it as a yoga studio but before hosting your event here be aware that a large number of people live here which can cause some confusion and awkwardness.
