Listen up, this place is great. New landlords as of 2013 have done a stunning job creating peace and community within the apartments, and sounds like they are much better at communication and attentiveness to their tenants than landlords past. The atmosphere is clean and friendly. Repairs are done in a very reasonable time frame, and if they cannot be done quickly, the landlords are excellent with communication so you know exactly what the problem is. Very reasonably priced for the area! walk 100 yards to the serenity of forest park. Dogs are welcome and parking spaces are available for $ 30 extra. This was too much for me so I chose to park on the street. I hardly ever had a problem finding parking and the most I’ve ever had to walk from a parking space to my apartment was 1.5 blocks. I would recommend this apartment to anybody and everybody. It is a few short blocks from the hustle and bustle of NW23rd, but far enough away to be a peaceful, homey retreat. I loved my stay at The Macleay, and I am sad to be moving.
