The Master Wrench

New to town. Saw their great lovation across the street from transit center. Had all new brakes done and oil change. Done on time and reasonable price. I will continue to use Master Wrench for all car repairs.

Amazing honesty. «Your car is fine. We see no problems.» This diagnosis after the dealership said I needed $ 1000 in repairs. Master Wrench specifically checked them out and reported that there were normal signs of wear but all was fine. And this was the first time I brought my Car there. But, but, no dealership cookies.

After having a pleasant experience the first time getting work done here, I thought I had found a reasonable place to bring my vehicle and brought it here a second time. Boy was that a mistake! After scheduling an appointment earlier in the week to get my brakes done on a Friday morning at 8:30, I brought my car in as scheduled and waited to here back from them in order to pick it up. As I sat idly by awaiting their phone call, which never came, I decided to finally call at 2pm only to find out they still hadn’t even brought my car into the garage! I was livid. The owner explained that he had been double booked and wasn’t able to get my car in yet but didn’t have the professionalism to inform me of this when I dropped the car off or anytime prior to my phone call. Inexcusable. Thank you Master Wrench, you made it a very easy decision for me to NEVER use your services again! Most people need their vehicles to get around so when time is set aside to get maintenance done, the customer expects/​needs it to get done so that they are no longer immobile. You would think that a car maintenance place would understand that. I guess not.

Master Wrench is amazing. I grew up with my sweet daddy and brothers taking care of my every car need. When I moved from the midwest to the west coast, I had no clue. I went through a sequence of agony where unscrupulous auto people tried to take advantage of a smart woman who knows very little about cars.
I found Master Wrench, and it’s all different. They are courteous, efficient, knowledgable, fair, and helpful. They don’t overcharge. They don’t up-​sell. They drove me to a nearby coffee shop to do work while they did my repairs, did the repairs faster than I could get my work done, and picked me up afterwards. I hope everyone rewards such excellent service.

I have had my vehicles serviced at Master Wrench for over 20 years and they have always been great. I trust them completely and would recommend them to anyone looking for quality automotive repair work.

I’ve used these folks for various repairs on my old car. New clutch, tune ups.
And then when I purchased a newer car I used the dealer which I think was a mistake. I now take my vehicles to this shop as I don’t feel as ripped off as I do at the dealer.
I’ve always found these folks to be quick and efficient when working on my vehicles. My last tune up was done quickly and didn’t cost as much as I had originally thought.
This place came recommended to me by a friend and I would agree that they continue to offer fast and friendly service.

I worked for Kurt Raz at another locations years ago in my younger years so I got to know the Raz family a little. Great people and they have a very good back ground in automotive industry.
The Raz family are the only mechanics that have my 100% trust. They know that you won’t be in business long if you make it a habit of over charging and doing unnecessary repairs.

I’ve been looking for a good place on the west side of town for auto repair on my 11 year old car. I was very pleased with the service, friendliness and fairness. I felt that these guys go the extra mile. I started this day as a new customer and now I plan to be a loyal customer!

After being overcharged at Raleigh Hills Automotive I decided not to go back there. Luckily, when I moved this time I found that Master Wrench is pretty close. The oil change ran about $ 5 more than other places, which I didn’t really mind. I love that they didn’t call me while my car was still there to pressure me into buying overpriced parts for my car. They addressed some problems when I came to pick up my car, and made some suggestions. Prices seem fair, so far.
I really like that they didn’t treat me like I’m an idiot, just because I’m a girl.

Great experience at a mechanic? That’s weird but true. This is the shop to take your vehicle to. Amazing communication. Chuck is so kind that he actually sent me to the dealer for a job he felt was out of his league. Helped arrange a pick up with a body shop when I was out of town and was willing to hold my car for as long as I needed.
I’ve gone back multiple times and all have been as great as the first. One of the jobs he did ended up failing 6 months later due to a shotty part and he fixed it again for free.

Chuck and the guys at Master Wrench absolutely are the best mechanics I’ve ever dealt with. I’ve used them for ten years now, and everything said in the previous review (Brie P.) is correct. More than once, they had an opportunity to charge more than they had to — and they did not take it. They get the job done right, at a fair price and never a problem. Honest, decent people who do a great job.

4. They found another problem and were able to fix it with in hours
5. I got my car back in 6 hours
