I really enjoyed Julie! We had my daughter’s 8^th birthday party at The Merry Kitchen and it was a blast. Julie was really good with the kids and knew how to speak to them and teach them about the tools that they were using and safety. The kids all shared with the tasks and had turns grating, squeezing, stiring, using the emulsifier! We made homemade lasagne, caesar salad and croutons, tortellini (packaged), and alfredo sauce! The food was good and I know that we will be making the salad and croutons again! Julie was very flexible with the menu and conscious of any food allergies. I would totally do this again!
I would say that 7 – 8 eight year olds was a good size for her kitchen. Any more and it would have been too crowded.

So far my daughter has attended 3 of Julie’s classes and loved them all! Princess Cooking Class, Autumn Harvest Cooking & Cupcake Decorating. Julie is great with the kids and is very patient in teaching them to measure and crack eggs and doesn’t mind if they make a mess. Best of all the kids get to enjoy the food they helped prepare. Wonderful experience all around. Highly recommended!

Julie has a wonderful way with the kids! My daughter has loved taking various cooking classes there and has now done cooking camp a The Merry Kitchen three summers in a row! I highly recommend Julie and The Merry Kitchen.
