Delicious little pies! A little spendy but totally worth it. I ordered the pie holes– Apple, s’mores, marionberry, and a brownie rocky road.. I may have went pie crazy but I couldn’t decide! All delicious! I think the s’mores was my fav. I warmed it up and served with some ice cream! Yum! I’ll definitely be back for more pies!

I stopped on this afternoon for my first s’more pie and I’ll be back! It was $ 4 and so delicious. It’s a bit rich, so you might want to share or get some milk. But try it, you won’t regret it. The employees were quick to greet me, take my order and get me out of there(which is nice when you’re taking something to go). There’s a few tables inside if you want to stay. I’m giving four stars until I come back to try more pies, just to make sure they’re worth their weight in dough. #nomnomnom

Finally, Portland has more pie options! A friend and I stopped in after a late happy hour for a bite of something sweet, and this place hit the spot(har, har). The marionberry was good, but the seasonal apple brandy knocked my socks off. And for $ 4 for a personal pie, plus a buck for a generous scoop of vanilla ice cream, how can you go wrong?

I love pie. Like big time. It’s an Oregon tradition. Please give me one of everything, make that two.

I love making pies from scratch at home. I don’t love how I feel if I bake too much and feel like I need to eat it all and not let it go to waste… so we picked up a couple of «pie holes» to go and that way we get our pie fix, choose what kind we each want, and don’t over do it. I love these things! Perfect size portion and the crust to filling ratio is amazing. It will be difficult to have a regular slice of pie from a bigger pie after these with so much delicious crust. We had the pumpkin and pecan caramel. Added some vanilla ice cream at home, yum. I’m looking forward to going back and trying some other flavors.

I love this place! I can’t remember her name but she works in the mornings with glasses — she is so cool and down to earth. Their cinnamon roll is to die for and its made out of pie crust! Awesome people, good music, and food. Can’t complain!

Tried the Brandy Apple Pie last night. It was perfect. Sweet but not to sweet. Had to have it with vanilla ice cream! Saw the Chicken Pot Pie and thought, «That sounds good and appropriate for the weather». However, we had just eaten and I didn’t wanna over do it. So, we are back tonight and I am getting Zee Chciken-Paut‘-Pie. Whoa! This is the best chicken pot pie I have ever had! Truth! No cut up cubes of processed chicken in this pie. Chopped, torn pieces of chicken with veggies and tasty sauce. If you are a pie crust person, like me, you will love this the flaky crust of this chicken pot pie. Word of caution, speak to no one after taking a bite of the top crispiest, flakiest, parts of the crust, lest you don’t like the company you are keeping and could care less about decorating their face with baked flour! I attacked mine with a spoon and worked it down far enuff to where I could break the top of the crust off/down. Not intended, but I worked my pie to the point it was like a scoop. No more spoon! All hand :)

Two nights in a row. First night marionberry with ice cream. Had them heat it up in the oven and then microwave and they were happy to oblige. So good. We’re back tonight for savory and sweet. I’m getting the mushroom Gruyère pot pie and pecan pie with cool whip. This place is awesome. Perfect music mix with perfect volume. Spotless dining area AND kitchen. In addition, the staff is very friendly and really have great customer service skills. I will be a frequent flyer from Vancouver, WA to THEPIESPOT… If you have pie on your mind come and pick your favorite«pie hole» and enjoy the deliciousness. You won’t regret your decision or the calories.

Love the mini pies here! My friends and I stopped here while I was visiting Portland. We came for a late night snack and they still had fresh pies available. The chocolate peanut butter pie was on point; the peanut butter was creamy and the chocolate on top was thick and kind of melty. It blended well with the peanut butter and the whole pie just melts in your mouth. I wish we had one of these places in FL!

S’mores Pie Hole would have been better if the crust actually tasted like Graham cracker but it didn’t. I wanted to Love love love it but it failed. I’ll try the peanut butter chocolate next time. Really cute place and nice staff.

You cannot help but smile when you walk into this shop! We were trying to decide if we would prefer pie instead of cake at our wedding and our event coordinators recommended we check out Pie Spot. As soon as we came in we got big hellos from the staff at the counter. We ended up with 9 mini pies, which were about the size of a cupcake, maybe a bit bigger and holy moly they were all delicious! And yes two people ate 9 pies lol that’s how good they were. My favorite was the Banana Cream with Salted Caramel & my fiancé loved the Marion Berry, but it was tough to pick a favorite. The crust had a great taste and texture and you can tell they take a lot of pride in their fillings, using fresh ingredients and highlighting seasonal flavors. Outstanding! Cannot wait to get in touch with them about catering our wedding! Our guests will be in pie heaven.

If you ever had an instant craving for pie but we’re too lazy(or incompetent) to make it or get a whole, pie hole is for you. It was for me on the day. Chocolate hazelnut and s’more pie holes were my pickings. You know something is good when it’s over but you just really started to enjoy it!

Had pizza at Ken’s a few blocks up and my sweet tooth was kicking in so we decided to stop by to try a few of their goodies. We picked up the Brown Butter Pecan, Brandy Apple, Marionberry pie holes, and the Cereal Killer cookie. The guy working at the counter was nice and his suggestions were very much appreciated. The pies themselves I would rate in this order from most delicious to less delicious: 1. Marionberry: Tart, flaky, and tasty 2. Brown Butter Pecan: Was a bit too sweet for me but the pecan was crunchy and fragrant and the pastry was flaky. 3. Brandy Apple: Cute apple crust/lid on top but the filling seemed a little sparse and a bit on the dry side, but pastry was still yummy. 4. Cereal Killer: Very similar to the infamous cookie from the Momofuku Milk Bar but not done all that well unfortunately:( Overall, the pies were decent. Perhaps if I heated them up a bit in the oven, they would’ve been even more flaky and yummy. Not the best pies I’ve had but definitely not the worst! I appreciated their variety of flavors though. :)

Sometimes, you just get a craving for pie. For me, it’s always pie and ice cream. Forgoing our usual pie spot, we opted to try something new. That’s what brought Ben M and I here. What’s my favorite thing about Pie Spot? That they have little baby pies they call, «Pie holes». My excitement pretty much stopped there. It isn’t that pies aren’t bad, they just are not very good. I got the peach bourbon and he chose to go with chocolate peanut butter, both with ice cream on top. We found both our pies to be lacking… the flavor a were a little blah. My peach was slightly dry and without the ice cream, would’ve been a pretty sad little pie hole. There’s something about chocolate and peanut butter for Ben and I found that he barely ate his pie. That’s when I knew something was slightly off. We just weren’t feeling it. On the bright side, they offer quite a bit of flavors. Maybe our pie picker was off that day so I won’t go completely off the star scale. Fruit, sweet and savory flavors peppered their board. I would be interested in trying their pot pies sometime but for the sweet craving, I think I’ll continue to hit Pacific Pie. 2 stars for the pie, an additional star for coining pie hole.

Nice pie shop in a fun area, I was there a few minutes to closing on a Thursday and there was a line. That tells me two things one, the food is good and two, they need to think about their hours, I had a S’more pie which was good, very sweet but the name pretty much tells you that. the top with the melted marshmallow is hard to cut through though. The inside is brightly colored and fun, even the bathroom had original art, well chalk drawings. It has big windows which offer views of an active area. As Arnold said, «I’ll be back».

SMORESPIE($ 3.50): 5⁄5 One of my favorite S’mores desserts that I’ve ever had. I’m a big fan of s’mores and how gooey marshmallows get when they’re toasted. Their version has three toasted marshmallows over a chocolate sauce served in a perfectly flakey crust. It’s quite messy to eat because the chocolate interior is runny but it’s well worth the mess. It’s probably a good thing that the chocolate isn’t thicker and richer because it would probably make it too sweet and heavy. As I’m writing this I just realized there was no graham cracker component to it but I didn’t even miss it. LEMONCREMESCONE($ 3.50): 3⁄5 It wasn’t really a scone but more like a cupcake. Flavor was okay but it just wasn’t what I expected. I should have known not to buy a non pie item from a place called the pie spot.

The Pie Spot! S’mores, S’mores and S’mores! Did I mention S’mores? Absolute sin! Adulterous! Pleasure! This«Pie» was more than just a pie. Slightly heated, you can feel the rich chocolate on your teeth as you bight into it. The S’mores is very rich, chocolaty and marshmallowy. Yes, it is messy. Yes, it’s gooey. It left a mess on my face, clothes and on the floor. I could eat this every day. We are lucky to have stumbled on this shop. If not for Unilocal,we never would have found it. The shop is tucked away on some back street that I never would’ve gone down. The inside is filled with warm bakery air and lots of bakery goodness. Thank you Unilocal! I am pretty sure this was the best S’mores dessert I have had. It is defiantly worth a try along with their other items. I am a fan and the S’mores is as good as it gets!

We stopped here for some take out pies on our way home, which we warmed up at home. I got the chicken pot pie($ 8.50 that includes a small salad). After eating it, I think it was a bit overpriced. The pot pie was good, not great. It obviously was homemade and fresh, way better than frozen. The flavors were complementary but the veggies were raw and the dough was too thick for my taste. The wife got a strawberry-rhubarb pie hole(about 4 inches in diameter) and a blackberry pie. She said the crust is outstanding and one of the best she ever had, maybe the best. The filling is flavorful and plentiful. The perfect pie for a small dessert for one. She loved it.

3.14 may be Pi Day, but in my house this has been Pie Year. We’ve been on a pie quest across metro Portland for months now. We’ve found a few pies to die for, but the Pie Spot sure hit the spot with magical mini pie pods of feathery & flaky crust cradling freakishly fantastic filling. Die young or Pie trying.
