Dr. Flath is by far the best dentist I’ve been to. He’s always done great work on me and my teeth and I couldn’t be happier with his service. The entire staff is wonderful there. And he isnt judgy about broken teeth, thanks in part to Portland’s un-​fluoridated water. Thanks Portland!

Went in for cleaning, and trouble with a few problem areas. I have had extensive dental work over the years.
I was greeted with warmth, and the appt just got better.
Waiting room had a soft buttery leather sofa that I wanted to luxuirate on
. …but did not get to! Was called back for yreatment within 5 mins of my arrival.
Lauren, the hygenist was exceptionally kind, gentle and super experienced w. dental treatments, and conditions. She and I got chatting, and the next thing I knew… BAM! My cleaning Was done!!! I am normally skittish, and have supersenitive teeth.
I DID NOT FEEL A Thing!!!
Dr Flath, treated me w. kind gentle caring, and listened to all my concerns. I am overly thrilled to find this dentist, and hygenist!
Very reasonable price wise. I use flex spending, but would gladly pay cash out of pocket for treatment.
I used parking garage nearby, but did not have to as they have parking for patients on site. Yeah!

I was referred to this dentist by my GP, and he is brilliant! Dr. Flath has just the right combination of pro-​activeness and «If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it» attitude. I went in recently with a complaint of a painful tooth which I thought would surely result in a crown. But the Doc took X-​rays, had a close look, and didn’t find anything to suggest a big intervention. Instead, he burnished the tooth down a tiny bit (at no cost), suggested we watch it, and a week later the pain is gone and I’m NOT out a thousand bucks!
HIs office manager, Marina, is extremely professional and on top of things. The hygenist, Lauren, is fantastic. Possibly the best hygenist I have seen in Portland. She can keep you entertained with her adventurous stories, and the hour goes by fast and painlessly. Warning: She WILL find a diplomatic way to tell you you are not flossing enough. The lesson has stuck with me such that I have changed my habits for the better.
