A friend of mine stayed here. It was convenient and inexpensive, walking distance to shopping, restaurants, and public transit. The room had a fridge and a microwave, and there was plenty of parking.

For a simple low budget hotel outside of Portland I felt very safe here. Additionally, the room was clean, there was ice, and the owner was very nice. This place is located in an eccentric little area, nearby a rocking Asian grocery store and a variety of interesting strip malls.
This is, however, not a hotel for all people. But if you want to be safe and watch a Billy the Exterminator marathon eating the spoils of your Asian grocery store raid before bed… viola.
