I wish I could give it more stars but the pizza went downhill in the last few months! I gave it a lot of chances but hasn’t done it for me. Have to find another pizza place :(

This is the place to be if you’re trying to find some good pizza, slam some beers, and watch some sports. If you’re lucky enough you’ll be there at happy hour. $ 5 one topping pizza… which is definitely big enough for one person. Drinks are also reasonably priced. The food takes a bit of time to come out but it’s worth the wait. Good atmosphere with pool, lotto, and everyone’s favorite Big Buck Hunter.

Jeanne, I appreciate your response 4 months after the the original review. Since my original review I have been back to your establishment 4 or 5 times because it’s the only legitimate sports bar in the immediate area. I’m sorry to say that things have actually gotten worse. Why does my boyfriend have to direct your staff as to what sports are on TV at any given moment? Walking into a sports bar and seeing wheel of fortune on the tv is unacceptable. If you’re going to advertise as a sports bar, be a sports bar. Emphasize to your employees to open a TV guide. Or give them a sports guide yourself. It would take you a few minutes a day to pass along. Additionally, the service in general and wait time for food has taken an even worse nose dive. The attentiveness of your staff, particularly in the cocktail area, is sub par by any standard. And it is all a shame. Perhaps knowing you have the market cornered has made you lazy? Look inward and figure it out. You have more customers in waiting.

I’ve been here 3 or 4 times now. The food is pretty standard sports bar fare, and they do a good job with it. Everything I’ve tried, including the Pizza, has been pretty good. The service is generally anywhere from pretty good to excellent; I haven’t had a bad experience. As always happens, sometimes the waitresses get busy, but it’s never led to a bad experience. It’s a fairly comfortable place and the prices aren’t out of bounds. If your looking for a good place to catch a game or a comfortable place to get a drink, this place is worth a visit.

I was planning on ordering pizza’s for my son’s first birthday party. I needed to place a large order and when I called to have some basic questions answered(how many people each pizza would feed, hours of business, when I would need to place the order) the lady on the other line was extremely rude and short with me. I do understand I called at noon, which is probably a busy time, but that is my lunch hour as well and the only time I had a chance to call. She cut me off and replied to my questions with short and sassy answers. So rude. I cannot believe that. Its like they didnt want my business. I was extremely disappointed because we use the other Tom’s off Lombard all the time for work and I know how good the pizza is. I will now need to find another place that can make enough people to serve 50 – 75 people. I’m giving this place 3 stars because I know how good the food is but the customer service is lacking.

Came here because it was within walking distance of the hotel we were staying at. The cheesy bread sticks were great! Greasy, sure, but it’s cheese on bread. If it isn’t greasy it probably isn’t cheese. Or at least not much cheese. A handful of beers to choose from, but not many craft beers on tap. I was pleased with my French dip, it was far more than I could eat in one sitting and I was happy I didn’t order a kids’ meal for my toddler — the one sandwich was plenty to share with him. One thing that was a bit odd: the server brought my two kids(a toddler and a baby) stuffed animals to play with when we sat down. They were new with tags, but we weren’t sure if they were meant to be played with for the duration of our meal or if they were meant to be taken home with us. Either way, my kids weren’t too interested so they were left on the table for the next kids to enjoy.

If you’re going to call yourself a sports bar put the relevant sports on, ever. It’s beyond embarrassing that your customers have to tell the staff what channel to put it on. This place is an absolute joke

Great place to watch a Blazer game! The food is pretty good but the pizza seems to be inconsistent… Sometimes it’s amazing and other times it’s extremely greasy and floppy(toppings fall off as you grab a slice). I’m not sure if there are different chefs that have different«pizza cooking techniques» or what. Anyways, prices are great especially during happy hour. Service is okay. Their signature Bloody Mary’s are the best.

This used to my favorite after work bar. Ever since the management decided to make«changes» it’s really gone down hill. Their service is terrible. The obviously hired the waitresses based on looks. Lol

4 stars mainly because their pizza is so damn delicious. The best near the Gresham/Fairview area. It would receive a 5 if their delivery sevice was more timely — think double the time it would take Domino’s, Papa Johns, etc. to deliver. Other than delivery, maybe I’ve been extremely lucky with the service I’ve received based on the few times I’ve been inside their joint. Even during one of the Blazer games, our waitress was attentive and checked in on us when appropriate. However, I will say the bartender gal is not great. I will agree with one of the previous reviews that the bartender appears to think it’s rude when you’re waiting for service from her. Even for a winning video lottery ticket. I remember one night, I had won over $ 100 after putting $ 20 in the machine, and after waiting for awhile when there was no one for her to tend to, I had to call her over and she did with some attitude. I took my money, and tipped our waitress what I normally would have given to a bartender for winning. If you’re looking for delicious pizza, and don’t mind risking the quality of service, then Tom’s is your place for pizza and a nice cold beer. :)

Toms is really more of a sports bar than all else — its a great spot to kick back a few brews and watch the game. Well I tried to order pizza delivered — got the combo. While I loved the cheese and toppings, the pizza was super greasy to the point to where the crust was soggy and unenjoyable. I finished the pizza over a series of days by burning it crispy in the oven which did certainly make it tasty in terms of texture. The cheese does taste good(better than others I can mention here), as do the toppings, but I wish they were just lighter on the greasier items somehow. They get two stars because the philly cheese steak type sandwich is very good and should not be overlooked. Also, they have good Calzones(which ultimately also grease up towards the bottom end and get soggy) Fix those and I’ll consider revising my score.

Let’s keep this short and simple. After calling in a order for delivery(promised in 40 to 45 minutes) and waiting an hour for it, I called back to check on it. The lady said the driver was en route and should be there in a few minutes. ½ hour later he shows up(Toms is less than 2 miles away ftom us). After asking the driver why our pizza took 90 minutes to recieve he told us that they lost our ticket and found it in the corner. He said no one knew how long it had been there! What?!? Thanks for being honest, I guess. Our pizza was cold and our wings were on the edible side of burnt. $ 42 down the drain. This is the second time this happened to us. And my sister in law as well. You can’t fool me a 3rd time. Next time its dine-in or carry out!

Well I went back for .50 wing Wednesday to be told they stopped doing that. This was the only reason for our mid week stop. So instead I ordered happy hour wings which were still a good deal. I asked for the bourbon molasses sauce. My favorite on the menu. I was told that the happy hour wings are original buffalo only but I could purchase my favorite sauce and have on the side. What?! So stupid. I have to buy sauce for my wings. Now I get these wings and they look pretty sorry. Before they changed everything they would be plump, juicy, tender wings. Not anymore. These were small, hard and overcooked. What happened to my wing stop?! This was my last reason to make this a destination. I will go back if our group decides to go there for a game but never again for the«new» wings. A huge disappointment since I raved about them on my last review. It isn’t even that they were not as good as before, the were just plain awful. On the bright side our server was nice as could be and very apologetic. Now if I could get her a job at Macgillicudy’s I would be set. I don’t understand the logic of management sometimes.

Probably won’t be back unless they stop revoking the deals! First time I went to Tom’s, they had great happy hour food and prices. the next time(not long after) the waitress explained to us that the owners had implemented all these restrictions and changes to the happy hour, taking away what was great in the first place. Months go by and we decide to get it again. We found the Bourbon Molasses wings to be incredible! And also found out about $ 0.50 Wing Wednesdays. Score! Today would be our second Wednesday visit for wings, only to find out the owners, once again, took away the reason to go. They did away with Taco Tuesday. Wing Wednesday, etc. and you can no longer get your choice of wing sauce for happy hour, ONLY original buffalo. which I’m seldom in the mood for. Our waitress was very nice, but we won’t be back. which is very unfortunate because it’s only 3 minutes from home. I suppose, also, I’ll add that the last time I was in there. my girlfriend crunched down on a piece of glass that was in her fries. and the waitress couldn’t get a hold of her manager(via text?) So she comped our happy hour dessert…(thanks.)

The service at this place really sucks and even if you complain about the food. like when it takes over an hour to get it for example. they look at you like it’s not their problem. only yours

This review is just about the pizza experience. Kind of a rip off if you asked me. I was charged $ 25.50 for a large ½ Cheese and ½ sausage, onion and mushroom. I called the next day because I thought I was overcharged. I came to find out that they charge $ 3 for delivery. I did not know this and tipped the driver $ 2. The person I spoke with told me that I could have ordered a hat trick and it would have been cheaper. I will say that the pizza is good. However, the cheese half was a lot bigger than the topping half. There are other options out there people. If I do order again I will drive the 2 miles round-trip and pick-it up myself.

Great food, good service! Very attentive staff! We went during happy our and they have some exceptional happy hour items: Chicken Casadillas, Mozz Sticks, Wings, Bread Sticks, etc… oh and I can’t forget the chocolate cake! I will definitely come back!
