Revised review so the red hoods won’t remove it. Or will they? First off the food and drinks are quality at NEPO42. Bart was generous with the shots and sarcasm and annoying a female couple at the next table. So the one star is not a reflection of the bar. As with all of the humorous reviews here, this is all in jest for our«host» for the evening. He’s kind of like a car crash, you have to slow down and glance, but you just want to keep moving on by as fast as you can. Apparently when you are as feeble as he is, he forgets when his own event starts. It’s sad when the mind goes. So sad.

This event deserves a one star review, amiright? First we arrived and had to sit in the shade, on a sunny hot day. The venue has a happy hour, but it ends early at 6. And the event was scheduled to conflict with Last Thursday on Alberta, which was nearby. That’s completely unacceptable. We arrived, but our host wasn’t even there, so we had to entertain ourselves by actually talking to one another in person, rather than the fine communication we have been enjoying on Unilocal Talk lately. The worst was that there wasn’t a table big enough that we all could sit at. Then another group nearby was giving us the stink eye for questionable conversation. The happy hour burger had onion, raw! The veggie burger had beans. They had a special punch. But it was pink. Craft cocktail Portland, what century are we in? They had a large list of micros, but you had to walk inside to see the list. The hot pepper poppers were too hot. The chicken n waffle had boneless chicken and sage syrup. Who came up with that idea? The barnyard fries portion was too large, approximating a Rochester garbage plate. They had self serve water, but it was cold. On a warm day. And it was in glasses rather than plastic cups. Someone could cut themselves if they broke. Very dangerous. And how come no one ordered the chicken fried bacon? That’s what I want to know!?! All in all, a solid one star experience. (Except the other Unilocalers, five stars!)

I ain’t having it with the organizer. I don’t do fashionably late. But the drinks and food are good.

The organizer didn’t show up on time. And the parking sucks.(Snicker) One star. P. S. The actual bar/restaurant is great.

Biatch can’t even show up for his own event on time *turns on heel* Jalapeño poppers too spicy. Totes his fault. One star.
