Booked appointment through zocdoc then saw it was instantly cancelled. Received message that the doctor was not taking new members. Pretty bizarre and unprofessional.

Dr. Valerio was my primary care doctor until recently. While he is a good doctor, unfortunately, Fanno Creek Clinic is a disaster (see the reviews on Unilocal), and the Clinic and the doctor are a package deal. Due to the clinic’s incompetence and error, several alarming mistakes occurred which ended up costing me unnecessary expense (in the hundreds of dollars) and concern for my health (priceless). It’s too bad as I really liked the idea of having a doctor and clinic in Hillsdale, where I live… but wishing doesn’t make it so. I’d drive 100 miles for a flu shot before I’d go back to that place!

Dr Valerio has been my Primary care doctor for about five years now. He is very professional and uses reference manuals to check things when he recommends medications, i appreciate a dr who will consult the manual because i don’t expect him to remember everything. I appreciate the clinic does some charity care and has a program to help unemployed people get insurance coverage thru volunteerism.
Dr. Valerio has recommended a number of no medication things for me to avoid taking pills for things. I don’t do well taking drugs consistently and he has great suggestions if you just talk to him. Like most Doctors they are always in a hurry, but several visits i needed more attention and got it.
The office is pretty good about getting you in when you need to see him and the online billing at the clinic is very nice. The process to get there is streamlined and the office isn’t overly fancy but effective. I don’ t need to pay for them to have a lavish office with my office visit charges. In the years i’ve seen them, i’ve never got a late fee, error on a bill, or had to deal with hassles related to the clinic. The onsite lab is very nice as well as the other medical disciplines they have right in the clinc.
