I have been a customer of vivint for over two years now. There services, on the surface, seem good and for the most part worked for a time. Recently we have had software issues which require a tech and have left our home without security now for over a month and will be at least another month until one can arrive. We asked to be relieved of our contract and have been denied. This is not a security company and there customer service voices we can get to beat the corporate mantra to an extent that I feel sorry for them(sheep as they follow one another over the cliff). If there where a no star rating that is what I would have given them. There is nothing worse than an unreliable security company. My guess is they are going out of business and so have no concern for current paying customers. Todd P. should be ashamed of himself for founding such a shabby, inefficient and almost borderline criminal company. DONOTDOIT!!!

Vivint is a company I would not recommend if I could I would only give it half a star. Their customer service is very very poor. They play stupid but maybe they’re not playing. I would recommend reading reviews on this company before signing up. I should have done more research that was my stupidity. Maybe by posting this I will save somebody from making a huge mistake. I called customer service because they double charged us for a month of service. I demanded a manager and I got it a supervisor. The supervisor was no more intelligent than the person I was talking to. We had to go to their online service and there we got a credit for the next month but we could not get our money back what a scam. I do not normally complain about companies but when they have your security in their hands and there this stupid its very scary and I need to warn people.
