Vday candy 50% off, it’s prob 75% off by now. There’s a nice small clearance section that does get rotated in the back. Even public restrooms for customers.

Walgreen’s refuses to honor in store discounts without a card and becoming a «member.»
There is no swipe for the occasional customer.
While most people don’t seem to care about this culture wide invasion of privacy, and harassment as a consumer to not offer discounts without giving up personal information and giving away shopping habits (which, by the way, can tell many things about you that you don’t know. Like the time Target contacted a parent to let them know their daughter was pregnant.)
I will not be a customer of Walgreen until they end this practice.

Portland, ME
You were not stocked with YOUR brand of some eye drops I wanted to buy. The name brand cost twice as much. You decided not to substitute the in-​stock name brand for your out-​of-​stock brand name product. You saved six bucks but you lost a customer. Penny wise and definitely pound foolish I think.
