Waverleigh Apartments

I moved in January of this year. During the first few months I began to have a little buyer’s remorse as the place was clearly being neglected, but soon a new on-​site manager took over. Since then, there have been great improvements. She is definitely working to keep things maintained. It is a little on the pricey side for the area and amenties, but my neighbors are friendly and they accept dogs of all sizes (and most breeds)!

This is one of the few rental companies in portland that allows large dogs. This is the only nice thing about this place. The hardwood floors are great but the downside is you always know what you’re upstairs neighbors are doing. You can even hear them talking.
This company will nickel & dime you for all you’re worth to ensure you DO NOT get your deposit back. They charge you to paint the place when you move out, regardless of whether or not it needs it. They advertise their rent as one price and then when you go to sign the paperwork they let you know it is actually $ 100 more expensive each month to pay for gas. I have never had a gas bill that was $ 100! Their washer and dryers are expensive and faulty and don’t count on getting your money back when they don’t work. If anything breaks good luck getting it fixed.

There is indeed a homeless that sleeps under the tree in our «backyard» area. Coincidentally I found him this morning at 6:30AM when I awoke having panic attacks about misplacing $ 150 last evening on Clinton Street.
