Weinmann Painting

Weinmann Painting was fantastic and I highly recommend them. We needed nearly all of our internal residential walls painted from dark colors to light grey and white. The staff made sure we were happy with the paint coverage so nothing showed through, even though some walls needed up to four coats of paint. Our house looks amazing now and none of the floorboards or crown molding has any hint that they strayed outside the wall boundary.
Weinmann was the most competitive price out of four contractors I got bids from and they didn’t skimp on anything. The executive team, Kevin and Chelsea, worked with me on flexible scheduling and any special requests I had. And Jose, the project leader, was great to work with. He and the other crew members always took off there shoes when going in an out of the house, they sufficiently covered anything in the rooms that might be exposed to the paint and even helped move the heavier stuff. They were so quiet that sometimes I forgot they were even there, which was important to me since I work from home.
We feel like we’re in a new home thanks to Weinmann!

We had Weinmann paint the outside of our house, plus several large and small interior jobs this fall/​winter. What a great experience — the communication was super clear on when the crew would be here (had to work around terrible weather) and when things would be finished. Along the way, some of the colors (interior) didn’t quite match existing paint since it had faded over time, and they guys came back and repainted at no cost. The crew leader, Jose, was particularly awesome and checked in with me daily on any issues or touch up areas I saw, and was 100% committed to making sure I was happy with the final outcome. They took very good care of my home inside and out. I will use them for all my projects from now on. Thank you, Kevin, Chelsea, Lori and Jose!

Weinmann company really knows how to take care of their customers from the first phone call to the final walk through! The crew was exceptional. I left the house and totally trusted the crew. The final result was fabulous. The quality of work was over the top. This company is professional and honest. I highly recommend the Weinmann’s.

Polli and the crew were incredibly conscientious, thorough and professional. We had a number of rainy days that delayed completion, but they came out every chance they got, kept us well appraised of their progress and timeline, and did a fantastic job.

We had a great experience with Kevin and Lori Weinmann and the team that painted the exterior of our older NE Portland home. The crew leader, Poli, checked in with us twice a day during the several days they were here. He was very pleasant and very customer service oriented. He always made sure that we knew what they were doing and answered all my questions.
Poli and the crew were courteous and extremely hard working. It took them two days to scrape and prep the house for painting; there was a lot of work; the crew arrived every morning before 8 am and worked until after five pm each day. I was very impressed by their work ethic and how hard they worked.

Great experience with Kevin Weinmann and his team painting the exterior of our townhouse. Their bid was the lowest of the three we collected. As important, their whole crew was very customer-​service oriented, providing information and answering any questions we came up with.
The whole project was promptly completed, within 3 days. After they were done, we had a couple of areas we wanted reworked, which they did the next day.
The only reason I don’t give Weinmann 5 stars, dear fellow Unilocalies, is that this is the only painting company I’ve hired in my life (how often do you paint your house?), so I have little basis for comparison. But, in all, I was very pleased with Weinmann and happily recommend them.

Weinmann did contact me to fix their work after I shared my experience on Unilocal,but I didn’t bother, as a refund clearly wasn’t in the offing and I’d finished the work myself.
Apparently they’re gaming Unilocal reviews to improve their ratings, however, and this makes them 10x grosser. Avoid avoid avoid.

Based on several referrals, my husband and I hired weinmann painting for full interior painting as well as power washing/​moss removal of roof. We were extremely satisfied with both services. We were on a tight timeline and they worked extra hours and the weekend to complete. Lori who manages then office was extremely responsive and helpful every step of the way. We will use them for future services and recommend them to others.

Just awful. Well above average cost estimate. Then they hit us up for an additional fee («to make it look good»). Paint peeled off less than 6 months later, despite the extra payment and treatment. Sloppy work, and to make things worse, they would not fix it. Terrible communication. Strongly advise you to go elsewhere.
UPDATE: We had the work done right before we left PDX. I assure you this is a review by a dissatisfied customer who used Weinmann. There was no offer to fix things before the Unilocal review.

Weinmann painting responded promptly to my query for an estimate. They outlined their proposal and came in at a reasonable rate and timing. They delivered on what was promised. They came back twice at my request– once to finish up some extra painting that I wanted done, and the second time to help unstick a window. Their follow up to my requests and questions (after I had already paid them) is what is prompting me to write this review. I plan on using them again.

The Weinmann crew showed up on a Monday worked throughout the week and finished ahead of time on a Sunday! They had quoted us 10 days for our job and were done in 7-​awesome. The large crew worked on painting our front entry, stairwell, upstairs hallway, 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. They were clean, respectful and did such a professional job on our 100 year old woodwork– not an easy task. We had a few concerns about some minor issues-​Kevin was very attentive, understood our concerns and fixed them the very next day. Jaime and his crew did an excellent job– our house looks brand new!

We chose the team at Weinmann for the painting of our commercial loft in the Pearl District. From beginning to end Weinmann Painting was awesome. Prompt, courteous, professional and skilled. Kevin and Lori make a great team and I always felt important. We had two large walls painted with Dry Erase Board (IDEA Paint) and chalkboard paint by their crew and everything turned out PERFECT! There was no evidence that a paint crew was in our creative space. Highly recommended!

Weinmann Painting was excellent. Their professionalism, customer service and quality of work is second to none. I have been remodeling my home in Portland and have been working with several contractors. Very few of them compare to Weinmann Painting. They were extremely responsive, scheduling a bid as soon as I contacted them. They arrived on time and completed the job within schedule. I would use them again and would not hesitate recommend them.
