I came here looking for a car and was helped by some of the most helpful people I have met in a long time. I told them the limit I had to spend and the types of vehicles that I was willing to get, then they began to show me around, After viewing several trucks (the 2 that brought me in the door had just sold) they showed me another one that was slightly out of my price range, but was exactly what I wanted. It was so perfect, which I mentioned, and they proceeded to help me with getting that perfect truck. Caesar called his boss got the price down a little for me, then got me on an affordable plan for payment.
I took the truck up to a mechanic friend who verified that there was indeed nothing wrong with my new truck. It’s a wonderful little machine and I have faith in WFJ Auto. They are honestly good, hard-​working folks. I’ll be pointing my friends their direction,

Looked at a couple cars. Looked good. Desided on one and asked to take to a mechanic. «Sure. No problem. But youll need to stop and get gas.» What??? I have to get gas to go take it to a machanic??? Sure okay. Mechanic says about 2000 to fix issues on a 6000 car.
But wait! I got to see a vehicle i saw on Craigslist for 6000. When i get there and ask the price they say 8000. When i show them the ad, the sales guy poopoos it and makes some comment i didnt catch. «Ill have to ask the owner»
I would only buy there if i didnt have another choice.
Prices need to be marked and they need to put gas in their vehicles.
All used cars have issues! Just be ready to deal with those issues.

Two months ago I went in to look at a car I had seen online. I encountered a number of issues with calling in to get information (my first warning) so I decided to just go look in person.
I was met in the lot by Damon. I took the car for a test drive and checked everything except for the convertible top because it was raining though I was assured that it worked.
I went through the process (the typical game of «let me go check» on an offer I made with the boss, Felix. This went on way to long and they were sure to let me know that the deal I ended up making was a steal!
I got on the freeway and realized my car had transmission problems. I got home and the rain had stopped so I checked the convertible, didn’t work. Realized the back window also didn’t work.
The next day I called and got an answer and was told they would call me back. No callback. Called again, still no callback. Finally I got ahold of Felix. He was patronizing about the convertible top and said I just didn’t know what I was doing. Told me to come the next day, he wasn’t there. The he told me to come in a few days later and leave the car with him and he would take care of the problems. Left the car on Thursday, he said it would be ready by Saturday.
I had to call both Felix and Damon constantly about the work being done on my car, the mechanics info and location, and when the car would be done. I couldn’t get a single answer out of either of them. It was always «I’ll call you back.»
I finally went to pick up the car, more than a month later, and Felix came out doing the whole sleazy used car salesman thing and wanted me to thank him for fixing the transmission problems (which I still have NO proof ever even happened) but he hadn’t fixed the faulty window and convertible top. When I asked why he said «its a cosmetic issue and thats your responsibility.» He also told me to «not act so ungrateful.»
I am leaving out so much more but the ONLY reason I am giving them even a single star is because after still not receiving my car after two weeks they lent me a rental.
Not all of the guys who work here seemed as scummy but Damon and Felix are the WORST kind of people.

They ripped me off for a third party warranty, never paid AUL warranty or even sent in the paperwork. I’ve tried working with them and get the run around everytime. I’m now taking them to Amal claims court.

Very Nice place to purchase a used car. Customer Service is number one there! The Sales people are very professional. They don’t try to pull the wool over your eyes. The salesman, Jorge, that worked with me and my fiancé was a great person to work with. We found them through Craigslist and they were offering a great price on a 2000 Blazer 4WD.

I went into this car lot only because another one next to it was closed. The 1^st car I bought had head gasket issue among other things. What I found a bit ‘disgusting’ was that the salesperson gave me the impression that he brought the price down $ 1000 to $ 3000 when that was the asking price in the first place as posted on their website (I was too trusting and naïve, to say the least).
Brought the car back and was ‘allowed’ to exchange for another with some additional charge. I was also given a ‘lecture’ that buying a used car is not like buying tacos from a restaurant: if the tacos are bad, I can ask for replacement/​refund but with cars I can’t. Interesting analogy… considering that a bad taco can give me a bad stomachache whereas a bad car has the potential to kill me (and/​or family) or someone else and/​or his/​her family should something go wrong with the car while I’m driving it. Just a thought.
Anyway… picked out a 2^nd car and once again had head gasket issue but am stuck with this one this time as I already drove it out of town (the same mechanic did not catch the problem — I guess it was just bad luck for me). Again, what’s sad about the 2^nd car was another salesperson said that the belts were new in the car; when I brought it to the mechanic, I was told that the belts have cracked. When you’re shopping around, they treat you like the boss; but once you find out something’s wrong with the car, well, just be ready for a different attitude. They don’t do much negotiation or price adjustment even when problems are found. I wouldn’t say that everyone there was horrible — some seemed to want to help and seemed honest. You can tell that they do work hard. But overall, the experience had been awful with the cars. The experience I had here (and anywhere else) could be avoided I think, if you do the following:
1) before buying it, bring it to the mechanic for pre-​sale inspection
2) look online to investigate whether there’s any known problems/​issues with the car you pick out
3) look up kelly-​blue book to get an idea of the price
4) bring the list of problems given by your mechanic from the pre-​sale inspection and negotiate the heck of the car deal
5) if you’re happy with the haggling, buy it; if not, just walk out
NOTE: take your time with the research and negotiation; if they won’t budge or if you don’t end up with the car you thought you were gonna get, it’s not the end of the world. Another thing, if you’re an out-​of-​towner like me… well, I would advise buying a car… just because if something goes wrong, you’re stuck. Just buy one from your local dealership.
Seriously, I wish I did not rush into my car the way I did — that would have helped me avoid being stranded midway back to my own home for nearly 2 days. Oh well, lesson learned and hopefully people can learn from my mistakes.
