Great prices for excellent quality, large portion, delicious fries and a menu with something for everyone! I would come back day after day if I lived around here!

Here for a quick bite while in town for a conference and was just what we needed. Not chipotle size portions but enough to fill you up and everything seemed fresh. They had s lot of options to choose from as well but I went with the signature wild burrito. Service was really fast and the atmosphere was simple trendy. They had cookies sitting out that looked delicious that I really had to restrain myself from buying !

I was in town doing some shopping at some of the local shops on Congress. The paint scheme that they have going on outside just makes you want to walk in. The interior designing is even crazier. in a good way. I like when restaurants have décor to look at while your waiting or dining. There menu for the most part consist of about 36 different burritos, nachos, quesadillas, seafood baskets, and burgers. I decided to try there signature burrito, the Wild Burrito with chicken and a side of chilly cheese fries. The cashier was extremely friendly and it was quite busy when I was there! In the 10 minutes that I waited for my order to come out, 9 people walked in and most came in alone not in pairs. He handled the«rush» very well and never lost his cool and kindness. The burrito was amazing! In my opinion it blows chipotle out of the water with taste and portion for the price. If you work in town Portland and want to grab Mexican on the go, I would give this place a shot. They do have about 6 – 7 tables so you can dine in also.

It’s a town of foodies, so even the burrito place has unique choices. Upon seeing a potato quesadilla, I had to know more. Using white potato(once again, not sweet potatoes) as a «meat», they create a vegetable quesadilla surrounding it. The potato was cubed and sautéed in a flavorful spice blend. I’ve not seen this done before, and I enjoyed the result. With an 8″ order, you get four triangle slices that will make you very happy for lunch. Each piece held together well, and you can eat it with or without utensils. Even with the salsa inside, the pieces were sturdy. Large amounts of cheese, ample fillings, and not too much water or oils to soggy out the tortilla. Other reviews put down the burritos, but I didn’t try those. If you’re craving a quesadilla, give theirs a try.

Wild Burrito has such an incredible selection of food on its menu! I love everything about WB. From the incredibly sweet and kind owners, to the décor and last but not least THEFOOD! I can always find something I am craving and I’m always happy.

I had the veggie burrito. gross. So gross. I want to puke. Nothing says clean and classy quite like a bathroom key either. However, the service was fast and friendly.

Wild Burrito is my favorite restaurant in the city. When I lived in Portland, this is where we went when we went out for dinner. It’s close to everything, it’s never so crowded that you have to wait forever, and the food is incredible. The staff is great, and the place is gaudy and beautiful. They hang local artists work for sale, which is a really awesome and simple way to get involved in the community. Love the place, love the people, miss living in Portland and having this place so close by.

Pleasant enough people but poor food. So processed and not tasty. Overpriced for what you get. I have to believe the high ratings are friends only. Go elsewhere. You’ll be disappointed.

I absolutely love Wild Burrito! I’m surprised that it’s rated so poorly on here. Their burritos are so good and affordable! I only wish they were open later so I could go more.

Out of the few burger joints I have tried in Portland, Wild Burrito by far has the best. The portions are generous and the ingredients are fresh. I wouldn’t say it’s anything original but it’s solid fare at a VERY reasonable price. I would personally recommend their burgers.

Found this place when I first got into Portland. I rather enjoyed my meal there. If you’re looking for a quick cheap and basic mexican dish, this is the place. I got a chicken quesadilla and it was great! Also very cheap.

WILDBURRITO was good, fast, and best of all, I loved the décor. This place has a wild, multicolored riot of paintings and zebra and animal skin designs all over the place. I took a photo, and it’s extraordinary… you might think I’m in a retro op art gallery at the Whitney. I want to return and do a photo shoot here. Even though this is a burrito place, I wanted fish. So I ordered the baked haddock and shrimp dinner, which comes with chips, salsa, beans and rice. Brandon, my server, was nice about substituting the rice with a baked potato, which was quite good. The piece of haddock was slim, maybe less than 4 oz. The shrimp were tiny, the kind that were probably frozen. The salsa tasted commercial, not home made. But it was a pleasant meal. If you’re in this ‘hood, and short on time(or want take out), consider WILDBURRITO.

I haven’t written a review in a while. Not sure why(no time? no money so not trying new places? lazy? Could be a combination of all), but I thought I’d just jump right back into it. Wild Burrito has been around Portland for some time, but I never tried it. After having lived in Colorado, I understand that my view on Mexican food has changed drastically(I got standards). Wild Burrito did not even meet my standards half way unfortunately. I will give a star for the price and a star for the service — friendly folks behind the counter, big portion sizes, and relatively cheap. If you’re looking for a relatively healthy meal for 6 bucks, get the two taco meal with rice and beans. Seriously huge plate of food. But the food itself was less than mediocre. The salsa tasted like it was out a jar, the beef taco I had was kind of flavorless, and the chicken tasted slightly rubbery. All in all, it was not worth my money — but I was starving at the time and it was the closest thing. Maybe some of their other stuff is better, but I’m not sure I’ll ever find out.

I had a delicious VERYLARGE burrito for lunch from here. I have to say it was a very generous size for the money paid. I really appreciate getting more for my money than I expect. I see future lunches being eaten here! I forgot to mention, the staff was very friendly!

Went to Wild Burrito because the menu looked interesting. Order somewhat personalized burrito and burrito bowl todays. Requested no rice on each. Both came with rice. At then end of the meal, My wife asked the staff to kindly wash the bib and plastic eating surface for our toddler. My wife was curtly pointed to the bathroom and told to do it herself. Of course, a bathroom doesn’t have dishsoap, and has other gross germs. Every other restaurant we’ve been in has graciously helped us out. I’ll be in portland again to visit family but never again will go to the Wild Burrito.

This place delivers a giant sized burrito for a nice price. The inside is a little compact and quite wild. If burritos aren’t your thing, then maybe you would enjoy a scoop of ice cream which they offer. But don’t even think about asking for a Milk Shake, because you’ll be left in despair. It should be known that these folks aren’t open on Sundays. Which is strange because I thought the idea of owning a business was to make money. My point is, here we are, it’s shabbas, the sabbath, I’m jonesin’ for a burrito but am wildly out of luck.

The place was pleasant enough but the food was far from outstanding. I don’t think a single ingredient is prepared in house. It all tasted like it came out of a can, even the nachos. This place put all of its personality into the neon monkey on LSD interior and none of it into their food. I was pretty pissed actually. I was in Portland on vacation and came away feeling like I’d wasted a meal. The place had people in it so I figured it must me worthy of the«Wild» title and that I was in for a treat. Unfortunately all I got out of this place was piles which didn’t improve my trip either. I can see people who work in the area liking this place for fast, acceptable lunches but I can not in good faith recommend going out of your way to eat here.

Since the closing of the best burrito place in town, Granny’s Burritos, I have been on the lookout for a new grub hub. I think burritos are the perfect meal: portable and filled with almost all the recommended daily food categories! I had the veggie wild burrito: Brown rice, salsa, sour cream, corn, black beans, lettuce, tomatoes, guacamole, and cheese. It came on a green tortilla, which I couldn’t place for flavor. It was HUGE. Seriously, it was probably 3 pounds of burrito. Though different from Granny’s, equally as good. Very tomatoey. It wasn’t too hot and spicy, but mellow and egalitarian. I could really taste everything in it, and the corn was a great addition. I loved the décor! Pink, lime green, tall booths built right into the wall! Great fun, and extremely friendly service! At $ 4.95, you really can’t go wrong. I’m told they have EXCELLENT cornbread, and I intend on getting it at my next visit! I hear they’re going to do fruit burritos in the summer, and I’m psyched!

I also tried the Brazilian burrito – the bacon, pineapple, and walnut sounded like a cool mix of tastes – but it hardly blew my mind. The rice is overcooked, there is too much of it, the ingredients are cheap and sparse(I got one walnut). Save your money for Herb’s Gully less than half a block away.

I’ve eaten here a few times over the past couple of months and I have to say I consider it to be a superior burrito experience. They fall into the«gourmet» style of burrito shops, because instead of going for an authentic Mexican taste, they have various different flavors, wraps, fillings and other ingredients to choose from. This includes blueberry salsa. I ordered the«Wild Burrito» which for $ 4.95 comes equipped with all your typical burrito happiness like lettuce, beans, rice, and salsa. What I was not expecting was the high quality of the meat, and a slight flavor of curry that was a perfect compliment to their ingredients. It was really delicious and my co-star said it was the best burrito she had ever eaten.(She got beef, I chose steak.) The interior is painted lime green and adorned with squiggle-cut tables arranged in front of seats that looks like window-seats. Each little«cubby» has an assortment of pillows to rest on, and there’s enough room for two people to sit cross-legged. And while you’re sitting, you can watch the small TVs they have set up high, playing things like Pee-Wee’s Big Adventure, Labyrinth, The Sandlot, and Ren and Stimpy. The guy who works the front counter is extremely nice and exchanges funny banter with the guy making the food out back.(Chester?) As if this place wasn’t already cool enough, they also sell Shain’s of Maine ice cream like an ice cream parlor for an extra uppercut of awesome. Cheers to Wild Burritos!
