This is the first dentist I have had in years that earned my trust and loyalty right off the bat.
They are true and honest old school friendly face dentistry. I am so thankful they are literally my neighborhood dentist. I’m afraid that no matter where I move in the city now I will have to always drive back to NE for my dental work.
Simple clean office that tells you you’re not overpaying on service for some fancy top level suite with a view. They really know their work and have been doing it for a long time. If they are part of your network I strongly recommending giving Wilshire a chance if you’re looking for a dentist office.

Dr. Gehred is my favorite dentist. The staff there is also very friendly.
Last time I went there I had to get a long procedure done (a complicated root canal). He explained the procedure in details, he was both confident and reassuring. It ended up taking more than 3 hours, but I never felt any pain. It actually didn’t seem that long because Dr. Gehred kept exchanging jokes with his assistant which made time go by faster.
I highly recommend Dr. Gehred, he is a highly skilled and personable dentist.

Neil Gehred is the best dentist I’ve been to. He listened, understood my concerns, and explained the treatment options clearly. He was conservative and didn’t recommend unnecessary treatments, and he confidently took on a treatment that another dentist said he wouldn’t even attempt. (See my review of Timber Dental.) Neil used meds and gas to help me relax and make the process as painless as possible. As someone who really dislikes dental treatments, I recommend Neil without reservation.

Dr. Gehred is easily the best dentist I’ve seen in 35 years of going to various dentists. He’s friendly and competent, but what I value most about him is that I completely trust him to provide conservative, excellent dental care. He clearly wants what’s best for my teeth, even if that means less business for him. He also takes the time to thoroughly answer my questions so that I have a cognitive understanding of what he’s doing to my mouth and how I can better take care of my teeth. Highly recommended and I feel lucky to have finally found a dentist I can trust.

Excellent, courteous, and friendly staff. The cleaning I received was simultaneously one of the most thorough and painless I have ever received, and the dentist was top notch: transparent in options for my care, personable, and skilled. Highly recommended.
