Wilson Moving Company

We used Wilson moving to move from Brooklyn, NY to Portland, ME and then a few months later from Portland, ME to Topsham, ME. I have moved many MANY times, and hands down — this was one of the best moving experiences I’ve ever had, particularly regarding a long distance move.
I got in touch with George in October 2014 or so, and asked for a rough estimate just to get some ballpark idea of cost, to help us with our move budget. I also got in touch with a couple of other big-​name moving companies. George was the only response I got — both by phone and email. George stayed in touch over the months and responded promptly to all of my questions. His pricing was very reasonable and the frequent & responsive communication instilled a lot of trust in me that this was a reliable company.
When it came to actual moving day, I knew that traffic may cause delays in getting down to Brooklyn, but they were actually a little early! Amazing! We had a smooth move and the two guys got the truck loaded quickly and with care. The next day, they delivered our stuff in Portland, and even helped put our furniture back together.
George has been extremely flexible & responsive. He is an all-​around friendly and helpful person who communicates clearly, and is very reasonable. Again, I have moved many many times over the past 25 years, including 4 long-​distance moves, and this was the best experience I’ve had. Thank you George & the team at Wilson Moving!

I used Wilson Moving Company to stage a house I am selling. These folks were very professional and efficient and dependable. I will certainly use them again when I move out of my home. I highly recommend them.

I was so impressed by Wilson movers. They sent 4 men to move my 2 bedroom apartment and were incredibly fast, efficient and friendly. I moved into a 3 floor apartment and had marked numbers on all my boxes… every box ended up on its correct floor, and nothing was damaged. They were also a couple hundred dollars less expensive than another company who gave me a walkthrough estimate.

I had a small move of two mattresses I couldn’t carry myself, and they did a great job. They were quick and efficient, had a fair price, and seemed like good nice guys. They were also the most responsive by email, and showed up when they said they would.

These guys were great! Four guys and a truck showed up, they loaded and unloaded without any incidents at all. They were cheerful, quick, and more than willing to move things once we had chosen an initial location. They made the move painless.
I will hire them again, when I move the rest of my stuff. They were reasonably priced, and they were able to work within my timeline.

We had a fantastic move with Wilson Moving Co. from Portland Maine to New York City. They came early to our apartment, were extremely careful with all our furniture and worked quickly. They were by far the most reasonable of all the moving companies I spoke with and really cared about being professional and making it a positive, easy experience for us. I’d use them for all my moves in the future and think that they are a great local company.

I used this company to move a couch, and they were excellent. They called before they arrived, arrived at my house early, had three men with them, and problem solved the best way to maneuver the couch into my house. Also, I felt the cost was very reasonable and fair. I would definitely use them again in a future move.
