So far I’ve been 6 times. Really like the feel of the space. Everyone has been reAlly friendly. I wasn’t so sure about the hot yoga thing but this last class became easier and I didn’t have to drink a gallon of water so maybe you get used to it? The poses are hard but many people modify of go into child’s pose and there is no competitive vibe going on which I really like. My 4 yo loved the childcare.

This is a nice yoga space but I have grave concerns about the teaching. The teachers lack a deep knowledge of yoga and expect students to practice way outside their range of ability with little to no meaningful feedback. Instructors seem like displaced Bikram and Core Power instructors trying now to teach a holistic yoga complete will Ball jars of water and kombucha. The owner is from California and this studio truly seems like a parody of what someone thinks is the recipe of a Portland yoga studio. All façade and no substance.

I was visiting in town from SoCal and took Forest’ class. Really enjoyed it. Highly recommend the studio and his class. I learned some cool new techniques in handstand that helped my balance. Super nice staff, nice big room, only about 10 in my class. Would go again if given the chance.

Really an awesome studio. Clean, good teacher, delicious tea and water provided as well as homemade kombucha! Also the cool towel at the end of class was an amazing touch. I will definitely be back!

I had been attending classes at Yoga Union but was looking for something smaller and closer. I was very pleasantly surprised by Yoga Riot — it’s an incredibly clean, welcoming, comfortable and affordable spot to practice. I usually steer clear of heated yoga but the infrared system they use is far superior, in my opinion, than the standard furnace heat at other studios. I felt like I could actually breathe, obviously vital in yoga. They also go the extra mile by offering free kombucha, childcare, etc. I’ve felt very supported and encouraged by all teachers.

Outstanding Studio! An amazing group of inspiring instructors in a very cool space. Infra-red heaters provide a nice warming sensation without getting hot providing a really amazing feeling that keeps you coming back. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed my classes and have found the drive from Lake Oswego is very easy and the quality of the instruction and classes keeps me coming back. Recently attended a couple classes on off hours of the day over the holidays and enjoyed super small class sizes for the most amazing experience!!! You must check this place out!

One of the best yoga studios I’ve been to in Portland OR… The space is clean, open with nice aromas. YogaRiot has lockers to keep your valuables in, but bring your own lock. When arriving I was greeted by Annie who informed me about everything; very helpful. They offer water, tea, kombucha with yoga(pretty awesome). Annie also taught the class. The room was warm but not to warm. What I liked most about her practice, was her hands on style of teaching. Thanks YogaRiot! I will return with friends and family! Lots of discounts for the month of December, if you stop by.

I’ve gone to different yoga studios over the years, but I hadn’t been in quite a while. The main reasons were because of the price, a weird, competitive vibe, or the complicated schedule was full of classes for some super specific style/level. I went to a class here and then signed up for the monthly unlimited. It’s such a good deal! The schedule is simple yet ample and the same M-F and S/S, so I can always fit a class in. I like the vibe at the top of the old Masonic lodge, the warm(not hot!) room with beautiful natural light, and the amenities in the locker room and waiting area. The teachers are kind, supportive, and communicate clearly. I can’t speak to the merits or credibility of the Batiste style, but I know there’s enough repetition to refine my practice and enough variety to sustain my interest.

I have been to a lot of yoga studios and this by far is my favorite. The space is beautiful, the energy in the studio is contagious, you can’t leave this place in a bad mood. I have taken a few classes from Christina and she is amazing. I left her class feeling refreshed and ready to conquer my day. Annie the owner and also a teacher there is extremely welcoming and teaches a beautiful strong class. I can truly say all of the teachers at Yoga Riot are phenomenal. Plenty of parking and oh get this, Free Kombuca! Yes Free! You can’t go wrong with Free kombuca

Love this place! I’ve been to yoga studios all over Portland and this is one of my favorites. It’s baptiste yoga which is a power vinyasa. The teachers are knowledgable and provide a grounding quality overall. The room is warm but generally not too hot. The studio is clean and everyone is super friendly. Love the hardwood floors and open space! And bonus for busy moms… they offer childcare with some of their classes. I highly recommend checking it out!

Beautiful studio space. Easy street parking. Lots of classes daily to choose from. Great mat/towel rental prices. Showers/changing area is great. They even provide shampoo/conditioner and soap so you don’t have to pack all of that in your bag to get clean after this sweaty hot power yoga. I would highly recommend this studio for their expertise, friendliness, welcoming vibes, and all the extras they provide to make it an awesome place to practice.

I love this studio! The space is big and very charming. Annie is a loving person, an excellent instructor and very knowledgeable. I am so glad that I gave this new studio a try! I am only visiting Portland for a few days but this definitely the yoga studio I will go for practice during my stay.
