The food here was ok. You load it up the way you want and then you put in whatever sauce/veggies/meat you want. Personally, I would have given more stars if all the foods weren’t mixed up. Be careful with that, health inspector would probably throw a fit. Regardless, the food is cooked in front of your eyes and which is pretty cool, except even if you see your food smoking and burning, you can’t tell the people cooking it because they don’t speak any English. I would probably skip coming back. Try Changs, way better quality and it’s much fresher, less msg ;)

I have been to several Mongolian Grills around the Portland area and this one is by far the best! An appetizer bar with soup, rice selections, chicken selections, and rice wraps offer a great selection of quick eats before delving into the veggie and meat bar to create your perfect bowl of goodies. After stocking up your can head to the sauce bar that offers a wider selection of sauce choices than most Mongolian Grills. Take it to the grill and hang out at your table to wait for it to be cooked. The cook rings a bell signifying your plate is ready. Afterwards, enjoy soft serve ice cream with toppings before heading out the door stuffed to the max. Kids under 9 eat free making this a perfect family dinner treat — highly recommended! If I could give more starts, I would :-)

We eat here because there isn’t anything else close. The staff are super cool, the prices are a little high so we only go with coupon. Not enough vegetarian options — could use better tofu.

Rarely ever care much for restaurants but this place is fantastic with friendly service! The food was really good(well it depends on how you make it I guess) but either way I will be returning.

Greasy, gross, bad neighborhood. If this place wasn’t free(I was gifted a Groupon) I would have been pissed to have spent money on it. We get in and the hostess seats us right away, the place was pretty small and crowded but there were open booths right next to the buffet we grabbed. No one on staff looked over the age of 16. You get endless refills of fountain drinks and plain frozen yogurt + chocolate and caramel syrup for dessert. They had an appetizer bar but half of the trays stayed empty the whole time we were there the remaining trays were crusted chips, plain rice and fried rice. There were wings in the appetizer bar but they were sitting out so long the sauce on them dried up, the rice also looked hard and clumpy, so much for appetizers. The entrée meal wasn’t bad. I will give them A for variety, they had a lot of meat, noodles and veggies to choose from. But their buffet seems questionable it was basically a giant vat of ice with each ingredient separated by cling wrap. Their cabbage tub actually had ice cubes mixed in with the cabbage. I was scared to try any seafood because of the questionable preservation. The grill they cooked on looked gross, place in general was meh, food splatter on the walls, kids messes, etc. This will definitely be our only visit. But I guess for a cheap dinner option this would be ok, its basically like fast food Mongolian stir fry.

My wife and I visited Yummy after realizing there was a Groupon available and reading the reviews. We went at about 5:15 pm on a Sunday. The selection was great, with lamb and sea food choices and all the vegetable selections we could have wanted. The sauces were a little less potent than the Mongolian grill we frequent in Eugene, but still really good. There was a wait while the chefs were in the back doing something, twice, but they cooked the food to perfection. The ice cream was a nice touch at the end and it had a sweet vanilla custard flavor. The staff did a great job keeping the restaurant tidy.

You have seen the last of me «Yummy» Mongolian Grill. The food is hit or miss which in itself is not a crime but I learned last night that the company STEALS all tips that are left on a debit/visa card. This means if you have eaten there and tipped at all in any method that wasn’t cash, the only person you helped out was the owner of the company. Not only is this immoral but it is illegal as well. I promise this will not be the last you hear about this.

love the food, location not so great. All vegetables super fresh, so was squid and meat. Price very low, $ 22.00 for two. So we tipped pretty good, cooks and waitress.

I have driven past so many times and decided to give it a shot. It is fun to make your own creation, and the price is great. Kids under 10 eat free so we will bring my niece next time. The buffet of choice was great, although frozen not fresh.

The food was ok i guess, good and cheap. More suitable for my weekday dinner. Focus on the actual stir fry. The meat, veg and noodle selectons are great, 4⁄5 quality overall because the seafood wasnt that fresh. The appertizer and desert bar is 2⁄5 since they dont have much to choose but it makes sense for the price that they offer. The toilet is clean, that’s a plus. The staff were greatttttt!!! Very helpful, funny and friendly Reading previous review i think they are trying to gain customers back Its like a place to spoil yourself with affordable good stirfry after a diet lol Note: for those who have FOODALLERGIESPLEASE tell them ahead because all the food is gonna be cook on 1 surface so there are gonna be some cross contamination

Me and my friend come here once in awhile and love it! The price is fair, and the selection is fantastic. Its a small place, and I’m a longtime consumer of Chang’s being as I live near the Milwaukie location. However Chang’s is often mixed up, the vegetables end up in other pans, and the oils always get blended accidentally. Here at Yummy they wipe down and maintain the raw food constantly. A little maintenence goes a long way. The ice cream and hot bar whenever you want is another reason why we keep coming back. Its not excellent food, but its darn good and makes this bachelor happy. My biggest complaint and why this doesn’t get another star is the bathroom. Lots of graffiti and the soap dispenser is busted. I’ve seen better bathrooms at gas stations. However aside from that i highly recommend this for a filling meal.

I went here recently with my gf who is on a very restricted diet. She was more than happy with the ingredient options and so was I. Dont let the sketchy façade phase you. Its pretty great.

Came in for lunch a half hour after they opened. Everything was super fresh, lots of choices and they kept the place clean during busy time. The calamari was not to my liking, and my husband would have liked flour tortillas instead of rice wraps. Other than that, I will definitely be back to this place. Hot, fresh and fast what more can you ask for?

This place has a great variety of veggies, meats, sauces and other add-ins. In addition, there are plenty of condiments available on the tables that are right next to the grilling station. They also have a soft serve ice cream machine with fudge and caramel topping available. Don’t expect a typical sit down restaurant experience — we bussed our own tables and had to be pretty self sufficient the whole time. Oh, and don’t forget some singles to tip the grill masters! Price wise I thought it was reasonable. We did have a Groupon when we went but, otherwise it’s about $ 13 for all-you-can-eat and a soda. I would definitely return here for another visit!

I normally enjoy yummy, but today when i went there at 8:20 the hostess ran up to open sign as i was entering and turned the open sign off. Then she tried to tell me they were closing early and would only do orders to go. When i did they should change their sign type reflect this she tied to say it was because of the super bowl… that is already over. My family, and all my in-laws will be going to changs from now on. Which is where i am eating now.

I really enjoy this place. The people are nice and the groupon is awesome. And the fact that they offer spinach noodles makes me a happy lady! Ice cream machine, good fried rice and even wings. Will definitely be back! Only thing that would be cool if the cooks would fry eggs on the grill. Maybe in the future?

We were greeted upon arrival, but I gotta say I wasn’t a fan of the place, looks like a place where tweakers would dine adjacent to a rundown Motel 6, but that’s far from the point. The all-you-can-eat was there, but my appetite was nowhere to be found. There’s an abundance of food options from sliced beef, chicken, seafood, and various noodles and sauce. You load up your plate and send it off to the guy who grills it. He works really hard and still manages to put a smile on his face, I appreciate that. Oh and there’s a tip jar on his table too, make sure you tip him. The place is ill sanitary but for a Groupon deal at a decent price, the pros outweigh the cons.

Bring a big appetite. Seriously. But keep in mind there are no doggy bags. Here’s a tip. Fill one bowl with noodles and another with your veggies and meats. Once cooked your food will shrink down to a third of the size it began at.

Pretty good Chinese food in horrible location. Just sit by the window and you’ll feel as if you’re watching an episode of «Cops.» Only worth it if you have a buy one get one free coupon. For some reason, I always had one… At least it’s better than the chain Chang’s Mongolian Grill.
