We couldn’t love Zeeks more! Perfect comfort food for drizzly Oregon days. Plus their bread sticks with a side of soup to dip is so BEYOND toddler friendly & as everyone with a toddler knows, a happy toddler is a happy family!

I tried Zeeks for the first time this week and it was absolutely amazing!!! I had the cubano sandwich and I fell in love with it! The entire sandwich was perfectly portioned with the ingredients which made every bite delicious! I will definitely be returning and I will recommend this place to everyone!

This is crazy. It’s more like a fun dare than a lunch: let’s serve up a restaurant that is centered on grilled cheese. Well it works, especially with the tomato soup. I did not see any decent salads on the menu but maybe it was because I was blinded by the light glinting off of golden squares of buttered grilled toast surrounding golden melted cheddar. I dunno, I’m not sure.

I’ve always loved Zeek’s. Their food is always on point, and their service is always quick. Easily one of my favorite go-to stops around Beaverton area! Thanks Zeek’s

I really liked this place. Most mac and cheese places only offer large or humongous portions. Zeek’s offers smaller options for less than $ 5 that are plenty filling Both my partner and I were extremely happy with the quality of the dishes. The caramelized bacon and Gorgonzola was outstanding. The grilled chicken and boursin was great as well. When we are out in the burbs, there is a great option that rivals any mac and cheese dish on the city.

These guys know cheese! You haven’t really lived until you try Zeek’s grilled cheese and Mac & Cheese! Downtown flavors without the parking hassle. Two hang-ups include a bit of a line during lunchtime and limited indoor seating. Still, it’s worth the drive. It’s one of those«shut up and take my money» places where you just can’t go wrong no matter what you order(and they actually don’t take that much of your money considering the magic experience you exchange for). There were vegetarian options, which was awesome for me and my hubby. We split a whole ciao sandwich and an order of jalapeño Mac and cheese(not as spicy as you might expect-just the right amount). Highly recommended!

5 stars for a grilled cheese joint! Super creamy tomato soup meets a sweet & spicy grilled cheese sandwich! The sriracha cream cheese, sweet soy pork belly & spicy daikon w an egg just made all the tastebuds in my mouth explode from deliciousness! It beats The Melt by a long run! Also, tried the spicy pork belly mac & cheese and the Pork belly complements the Mac and cheese so well!

Great sandwich. Near home which makes it a great convenience. Only outdoor seating, so it’s a bit of a challenge in the wet winters of Oregon.

Not an experience I looked forward to after reading fellow Unilocaler’s review. I am bit disappointed due to lack of vegetarian sandwich options. Hope they add some in their menu. My sandwich was nothing great. We took CIAO with tomato basil and Cubano(no meat) options. Don’t have much to say as it lacked the taste and punch. Though liked tomato basil soup. I might give it a shot again for some other flavors and for their tomato basil soup. For now I give it 3.5***.

Really. Friggin’. Awesome. I’m in the Bethany area more often than not recently for professional reasons. This wave of micro-restaurants opening is certainly encouraging. I hope they«stick», because I really enjoyed Zeek’s. It’s a postage stamp sized joint, for real. Literally a bar with some stools, the cash wrap and register, and the kitchen. That’s it! Grab it to go or sit outside on one of the tables if it’s comfortable enough for you. I got a whole cubano and a lemonade. Delicious! The cubano is everything you would expect: crunchy, tangy, savory and sweet. It’s a bit… drippy too. The banana pepper mustard relish(brilliant, btw) will probably squeeze out of your sandwich as you’re shoving it into your wordhole. Small price to pay to get this bad boy in there, though. The small container of tomato basil soup to dip it in is just a lovely touch. On my radar for the next trip: The chicken and boursin mac & cheese along with a Sofrito sandwich. Yum!

I’ve been away from the Bethany area for a while, and was pleasantly surprised when I stumbled upon this place earlier this year. It’s quite good, and the price point is excellent. Due to the place’s small size, you’re better off grabbing your food to go, rather than trying to find seating indoors, but that’s ok – take it to the fountain and eat there.

For the food, I would give it four stars. However I cannot cannot cannot support incredibly rude owners that treat his employees and customers(when he’s around) like absolute crap. My boyfriend and I go in around 6 pm and there was no line or any customers waiting inside. We’re looking at the menu(our first time here) and because he was staring right at us the entire time we were looking, my bf said«it’s our first time here, what do you recommend?» He gives a curt answer of «everything is good here. If you have a problem with any of it we can take a step outside and go toe to toe». I thought he was joking. But I kid you not he just continues to stare at us. Even the employees were startled and all glanced our way to see our reaction. So whatever. We just brushed it off our shoulders and moved on. Because the food was good, we just vowed to never go back again and not make a fuss about anything. However, this was not the problem. Couple months later I go in to get lunch before work and I was wearing a sweater at the time. Unfortunately the owner was there and quickly pointed out that I was wearing a sweater on a hot day. «Aren’t you hot wearing that sweater?» I said no with a question at the end cause like… why are you commenting on my clothes? And then he says«there is a time and place to wear that kinda thing». It was a black hoodie with no design, nothing. I’m all for supporting local businesses and especially these new micro restaurants at Bethany but I can’t stand people like him. That sense of entitlement to say whatever he wants to whoever is really just gross and it’s because of the owner that I will never go back. I just can’t support people like him.

Zeek’s Cheese Grill is a bright new star in the blossoming Bethany Village Centre. Like it’s neighbors Zeek’s is a «mircro-restaurant» offering just a few chairs and a counter. Zeek’s Cheese Grill does have a side door for take out orders. How well that’s going to work when the weather turns bad I don’t know. However, at the present it’s working beautifully as diners sit outside and enjoy their delicious grilled cheese sandwiches. For starters, the counter staff at Zeek’s Cheese Grill are about the friendliest and most helpful folks around. Had a diner with with dietary concerns. The counter guy went out of his way to accommodate us. I was just a few feet away from the grill jockey so I was able to give directions. The staff did everything they could to please us. The menu offers grilled sandwiches, various mac & cheese combinations, soups, salads, and nachos. Small sandwiches go for about $ 5. You can get a small grilled cheese sandwich for $ 3 which I thought was quite fair. Would have not even known that Zeek’s Cheese Grill even existed had it not been for my fellow Yeep and great friend Janet M. Went looking for a Cuban sandwich and Janet pointed me to Zeek’s. Speaking of Cuban sandwiches Zeek’s Cubano is the best anywhere. Zeek’s Cheese Grill makes their Cubano with dill Havarti cheese, roasted pork, bacon, pepper mustard, and pickles. Absolute nirvana! My Cubano came with a complimentary cup of Zeek’s tomato basil soup. So delicious! Accompanied my Cubano with a side of Zeek’s «Four Cheese» macaroni and cheese. It was the best mac & cheese I have ever had. The texture was perfect and the pasta absolutely melted in my mouth. Someday I hope to be writing an update to Zeek’s Cheese Grill by trying one of their other gourmet grilled cheese sandwiches. However, for me getting past Zeek’s Cubano would be harder than reaching the summit of Mt Everest! Never thought I’d be writing a glaring review about grilled cheese sandwiches. Sorry, but for me this is as good as it gets!

Another great microrestaurant in this plaza. CIAOGRILLEDSANDWICH: Fresh mozzarella, basil, tomatoes, balsamic reduction, black pepper, and olive oil served in Parmesan crusted bread. The bread was my favorite part being super crispy and perfect cheesiness. I would have just enjoyed eating the toast by itself. Inside of the sandwich was delicious too and loved the flavor combination. DUCKANDTRUFFLEOILMACANDCHEESE: I definitely liked my sandwich more but my friend’s dish wasn’t bad. It was very creamy and cheesy but my complaint is that there was no duck and truffle oil flavor. I could smell the truffle oil but couldn’t really taste it since the cheese flavor dominated.

Took the tweens to the movies, headed to Black Rock and grabbed a mocha… then I realized it was 3:30 and I hadn’t eaten all day. Oops. Picked up a friend and went to Zeek’s. It’s a new(ok not so new anymore) microrestaurant in Bethany Village. Bethany Village is our local shopping center and the hub of our little suburban neighborhood. Kids play in the fountain on warm days by the Starbucks. There are monthly summer concerts in the parking lot. Yes. I know that is sad. The microrestaurants make it almost cool though. Well. Cooler. A moderately friendly girl took our order and brought us food. Zeek’s has a nice selection of mac and cheese or grilled cheese concoctions. There’s bacon, duck confit, siracha, pork belly… all kinds of delicious ingredients. My sandwich, the Oregon, was full of brie, pears, gorgonzola, and bacon onion jam. The bread was perfectly crusty, airy, and buttery. The sandwich arrived with a little cup of tomato basil soup. I liked it. My buddy’s sandwich had pork belly, a fried egg, sweet soy sauce, siracha cream cheese, and daikon radish… it was tasty too. He is not a real tomato soup fan and told me mine(homeade) was better(it is but this aint bad). His bread was very airy/lacey with lots of holes which allowed ingredients to escape. He expressed that he liked the bread but would have liked it to be more solid and wished there were other bread choices. I’m giving Zeeks a four. I liked it. It wasnt super crowded in the middle of the afternoon today but typically its busy at meal times and finding a table might be tough. Be prepared to take it home or sit on the grassy steps of the afore mentioned fountain area. It might be a shopping center in the burbs but the food is good and the people are nice. Give it a try.

Killer caramelized onion, gorgonzola, and bacon mac and cheese. The combination of the ingredients really work well together and are a party of taste in your mouth. If you love mac and cheese, you HAVE to try this one, I also got the Ciao grilled cheese… just wonderful. It’s like a Caprese salad in sandwich form — SOGOOD. Bethany goers and livers… this place is a definite must try

I’m originally from Oregon but moved out of state several years ago, so this was unfortunately the first time I’ve been able to enjoy Zeek’s and probably the last for a very long time as my parents are moving closer to my husband and me. This is the sort of restaurant you’ll love everything you order and want to work your way through the remainder of the menu. I wish I could have the chance to do so before returning home, but unfortunately I can’t! I’m hoping to hit it one more time before I leave, however, because it’s THATGOOD. We ordered: the duck confit nachos, a small Cubano sandwich, a small Pear, Candied Pecan, and Gorgonzola Salad, and a small Pan-Seared Chicken and Boursin Mac and Cheese. I don’t have a single negative thing to say about any of it — nothing was mediocre at all, it came out hot and fresh, and the cheese to pasta ratio in the Mac and cheese was perfect(2:1 at least). Super delicious eatery everyone needs to hit up!

I got a ½ Cubano sandwich here today and really enjoyed the pork and bacon. The meat was cooked perfectly. The banana pepper relish gives it a nice kick without being overwhelming. The cheese was melted wonderfully. I also got a ½ order of the mac and cheese with sundried tomatoes and chicken. Every time I bit into a sundried tomato the burst of flavor with the cheese was awesome. The side of tomato basil soup reminded me of spaghetti sauce though and I wish they used a different herb other then basil. They have a variety of flavored lemonades that are quite refreshing too. Also my husband has tried the chili mac and cheese here and enjoyed it a lot.

Stopped in at lunch, very busy. The staff was very pleasant and efficient. I had a half a Cubano sandwich, which was very good. But the Mac & Cheese with caramelized onion and bacon jam blew me away — hands down the best Mac & cheese — anywhere! And I make an awesome smoked Gouda mac & cheese myself — this was amazing. I’ll definitely be back.
