Last two visits to Zen Space, my masseuses shorted my time. The first time, an hour massage was shorted 5 minutes. This last time, I paid for a 90-minute massage and was shorted 10 minutes. Probably should’ve asked for some kind of reimbursement for the cheated time, but why should a customer have to do that?

I like the new face of Zen space. It felt very clean and peaceful. My practitioner focused on my problem areas(my shoulders) and I feel so much better. I think I will return soon.

My wife scheduled me a massage while we were at the coast for a few days. She’s good that way. The Zen Space Healing Center had the following pros/cons: Pros — friendly, great décor, looks like it’d be a good place to get reflexology, as the set-up looks like the higher-end places in Hong Kong. The masseuse who worked on me was really low-key and did some work on my jaw and throat(because I’d mentioned an incredibly stiff neck) that was like nothing I’d ever had done before, and really helped. Cons — I came closer to actual pain during this massage than any other I’ve had. Thought I’d been clear about wanting the massage to be relaxing vs pain-inducing. To be fair, though, once she’d hurt me(shoulder), she completely got where my threshold was and dropped just below it. So, of the 55 mins or so, 54.5 of them were very good.

First visit — lovely staff, good space, great foot treatment and massage. Definitely going back for the full body treatment. Very reasonable pricing with specials — check it out!
