How cute is this place?! We were in town for a wedding and coming from the city to laid back Portola was an eye-​opener for the kids…(they were literally dying without wi-​fi) but there is also not many restaurants or stores around. We just so happened to find this cute scaled down diner with a drive-​thru for breakfast. The food was good, the people were super nice, and they had wi-​fi for the kids!

Staff here is really nice and made it easy to order and be on my way. I had the breakfast sandwich with ham on an everything bagel, which was tasty! Other guests were enjoying a more leisurely breakfast while reading the paper. This place is great for a hot breakfast on the run and provides a good deal of flexibility on the sandwich– choice of mets and choice or bread.

have stopped here a couple of times on the way back to Carson City from Quincy, CA. they have a great breakfast menu and home cooking at its best. definatley a place to stop and get a quick meal.
