So we needed to stop by this store tonight, I dropped off my hubby a lil up the street by the Vape store and parked upfront. I was already almost going in, but realized that my husband had my credit card. I run to get it from him and the lady started yelling at me that my car will be towed. It took me 2 minutes to get a cc and get back. Well, first thing I saw when i got to my car that the owner or whoever she is, a blond hair woman, is already calling th towing company and telling them my plates number. I said «I’m sorry» to her, but she didn’t even look at me. No wonder that I just left the parking spot without even coming in, even so we really needed to.
That how you lose customers. I will definitely tell all my friends and family how they treat their customers here.

Very nice, wonderfully helpful people! Went in with a recipe I wanted to try for my very first attempt at home brewing. They found all the ingredients. They have everything in that little shop.

Stumbled on A&G walking in downtown Portsmouth today and was thinking about brewing tomorrow. The store just opened last week but has most every ingredient there for newbie and experienced brewer alike. Plenty of hops (reasonably priced) and a great selection of Wyeast. I happen to prefer White Labs but I’m a little weird that way. Store was big, help was pleasant and not pushy, and they were having a Big Brew event in honor of National Homebrew Day today. Go visit! Great to see a homebrew shop back in P-​town. ESB for me tomorrow!
