My 2 children take Brazilian Jiu-​Jitsu classes and the instructor Daniel Duarte is the best! He is patient, kind, respectful and firm as he guides the kids step-​by-​step through the moves. Best money spent at a martial arts studio!

GCAMA is not your average «martial arts dojo». Guru Guy Chase comes from a pedigree lineage of martial arts masters including Dan Inosanto, the late Great Grandmaster Floro Villabrille and late Grandmaster Ben Largusa just to name a few. At first, the distance to the academy is what delayed my enrolling of my son to continue his Muay Thai training. Once I got him enrolled, I realized how professional and authentic the training he will be receiving and the 45 minute drive has become an afterthought. It was so impressive that my son took up more arts; Filipino Kali & Indonesian Silat and has excelled in all of them. My son has trained in Japan and Philippines; for him to enjoy and successfully transition to the GCAMA speaks volumes of Guru Guy Chase’s methods and knowledge of the arts. The historical knowledge alone will blow you away. Give it a shot; after a few trial classes, you’ll be wondering why you haven’t signed up earlier.

I called to enroll my son in beginning classes and was told the instructor wanted to do a free introductory 30 minute private class to see if this would be a good fit. We schedule a time two days later for the class. When I arrived with my son, the studio doors were locked. No one arrived. A few minutes after the appointment time, someone who appeared to be an older student came up and said that the instructors were all away on a trip and that no one would be coming. No explanation. The studio never called to cancel or to apologize. I’ll look for another place that shows respect and professionalism.

When i first was looking to get into martial arts I was very worried about what level or discipline to start with. I visited a few places and didn’t receive the warm fuzzy anywhere else but here. For our first session it was one on one going over customs and expectations. The staff here is great and very polite. Would recommend Guy Chase and his staff to anyone looking to learn very unique set of skills. A great way to learn and get into great shape.
