Harbor Eyecare Center

My Silhouette frame broke and I was worried that I would be able to find a replacement as C and I travel around the east coast. My vision is rather bad, so eyeglasses are essential. Fortunately, Harbor Eyecare Center sells Silhouette eyeglasses and replaced the broken arm with a temporary. Immediate service and smiles. What more can you ask for. Thank you Harbor Eyecare Center!

Tech was not-​so-​nice! She seemed aggravated and rushed me when performing their slew of vision tests (none of which I could get the results — unless I paid– waste of my time!). I wasn’t fast enough for her, I guess. Not very kind at all! Then Optometrist treated me like a number. No personality. Just going through the motion. There are much better, more personable offices out there. Don’t go around there at lunch time I guess– they might be too hungry and extremely irritable.

I really love how technologically savvy this place is. Everything is easy — reminder calls/​texts, they are always on time or within a few minutes of your appointment. Dr. Hudson is very thorough and easy to talk to. Everyone from the receptionists to the dr’s and opticians are really great. Easy place to get to and park too!

They were very friendly at first. I started to make eye appointments the beginning of July because I was having a lot of pain and blurriness in my left eye. I was also put on a couple of cancellation lists too. I did see the first doctor that had a cancellation. Luckily I just need glasses and no big issues. My first pair and I didn’t find anything that was just right for me. So I have been shopping around. I have been to 5 other places besides where I had my eyes checked. When Harbor Eye found out I didn’t have my exam there they told me they wouldn’t sell me glasses. Well I thought cash was cash, but if they don’t want mine, that’s just fine with me. If they were in my shoes, and they didn’t like the glasses available at one place, I’m sure they would shop around until they found what they were looking for. The other places were also aware that I already had my eyes checked elsewhere.

Very friendly and attentive service. Fixed broken glasses, of my own fault multiple times with a smile. Would highly recommend.

Good staff but I’ve been waiting for more 30 minutes already!!! I hope they value the customers’ time too! One star cause time is important to us too! I wish I was told how long was the wait!

I would highly recommend Harbor Eye care Center. I was stuck without a eye doctor after 22 years of seeing the same doctor because they didn’t take my insurance anymore. It happened at the worst time, a time when I was having eye issues. Even more challenging when I struggle with going to the doctors in general, especially new ones. It took me a few calls to find a place that worked for my insurance and finding a dr. to meet my needs. I feel more comfortable with this dr. than the dr I have been seeing since I was a kid. That says a lot coming from me. I seem to do well with Dr. Hudson.

I came in for a minor nosepad replacement, as mine came undone, and the technician scratched one lens by accident!
However, the management made it right by providing me with a new pair of eyeglasses and lens, and shipped it to me in my hometown a week later! And since my frames were expensive, they didn’t complain at all when I selected a similarly lightweight and expensive frame from their inventory.
When I took them to my local optometrists for adjustment, they marveled at the quality of service Harbor Eye provided, which they attested was extremely unusual!!!

Very enjoyable and professional environment from start to finish. Prompt, friendly, knowledgeable and thorough. Have gone to Harbor Eyecare for myself (Dr. Hudson) and my daughter (Dr. Pruszenski) — both excellent.

Dr. Hudson and the whole staff are the best in customer service that I have ever seen. They are friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable and go above and beyond to take care of you. I drive over an hour to get there, but would never think of going anywhere else for my eye exam, my glasses, or my contacts. They are simply the best.

Cannot say enough good things about the customer service at Harbor Eyecare. I was in town for a wedding and was in a bind – my contacts were in my checked bag that the airline lost, and the glasses I had were super old and essentially worthless. I walked in about an hour and a half before they closed for the day, but instead of telling they random guy that just walked in without an appointment to get lost, they did everything they could to help me out. They went the extra mile to help me out, and I am incredibly grateful. If you’re looking for an optometrist you can do no better than this place. It is absolutely top notch.

I have been a patient at the is practice for over 10 years. I am always impressed at their care, flexibility and competence. They continue to grow and still serve each customer like their top customer. I never have to wait and I always feel that I am getting the best care. Dr. Amy rocks!!!

I went in, got my eyes checked, ordered lenses, picked out a frame, and felt way more confident about it than on any of my previous trips to one of those «glasses in an hour» places. I’ve been wearing glasses since I was six, so I’ve become familiar with the difference between people who know what they’re doing and people who don’t. These people know what they’re doing.
They have several Optometrists and while they’re probably all good, the only one I talked to was Sarah Hudson and I’d go back to her again.
