Three days ago I was finallly contacted by the stores owner, Elizabeth. The conversation started ;on a very bad not because she was upset that we had not emailed her the pictures our seamstress had taken of the dress yet. I tried patiently to explain to her that my husband was on duty, and has zero contact with phone, internet, etc and cannot just leave work to deal with this issue. I work full time as well, and have two young children. She was extremely argumentitive and tried to pick apart the timeline of what had transpired, etc. I told her bottom line, that as a store owner I should have heard from her DIRECTLY weeks ago when this became such a large scale issue. I had yet to talk with her directly up until this point, I have had to deal with various store associates, etc. She snidely commented back to me that this isn’t a ‘big deal’. I let her know that maybe it isn’t a big deal to HER, but going to a military ball and representing my husband and his command is a BIGDEALTOUS! I was shocked at how low and berating she was, her customer service level is nonexistant and her personal tact is lacking as well. She told me if the first dress was such a huge issue than maybe I ought to wear the second dress to the first and second event! I told her that the second dress was bought for a CASIO event, and tried to explain to her the level of disrespect and innappropriateness of wearing a ballgown with a slit in the front and mirrored/flashy sequins all over to our first event, which is going to be mostly officers/higher ups and definitally more formal. I felt very offended that she was offering me alternitive solutions such as this, instead of offering to TAKECAREOFTHEISSUEATHAND! She demanded that I take down the review that I wrote here on Unilocal! and I told her ‘No!’. She then, and ONLYTHEN offered to have her seamstress fix the dress and all it’s issues at no charge, after we’ve been asking them for over a week to help us resolve this issue. I told her it was too late, we were not SIXDAYS pre-event and I had waited long enough, and we had allready taken the dress several days ago to a very reputable seamstress(CHUNG-of We Care Dry Cleaners! I cannot reccommend this lady enough!!!) Elizabeth yelled at me thru the phone and continued to try to argue this topic to death, and I let her know that I could not and WOULDNOT, be discussing this any further because I was at work and it was highly unprofessional. I asked for her information so that we could file a claim with the better business bureau and she HUNGUPONME!!! Moral of the story here is ‘Fool me once, shame on you, Fool me twice… that ain’t happening!‘ On a side note, the dress is still being worked on. I am due to pick it up today, with this being said I was told that it may be a total loss. The damage done when Sioree ripped out the zipper and replaced it was too much to fix appropriately. The staining seems to be steam burns, and the fabric was singed… not just waterstained. Fingers crossed for the wonderful tailors at We Care Dry cleaners, they have done an EXCELLENT job at working with us on this dress! Their communication is Excellent, and customer service Top NOtch! At this point I don’t even mind paying the extremely high fee of getting the dress fixed, because I KNOW I’m in good hands =)

Évaluation du lieu : 2 Manchester, NH
Bottom line. Not impressed. Sorry to say because I LOVED Madeleine’s Daughter, I would never recommend Soirée to anyone. We had a terrible experience. From lack of customer service, inexperienced employees and just plain old RUDE, this was the worst vendor I dealt with during the course of my wedding. The tuxes were supposed to be ready the Tuesday before our wedding and many people went out of their way(hour plus drives) to get their tuxes and much to our disappointment many items and pieces were on back-order and not available until 2 days before our wedding. Which made this an inconvenience for someone to have to go pick everything up and also a stress because things that did not fit would have to be overnight shipped to us(in hopes that it would all work out?). The ties we got with our tuxes were, in one word, horrendous. First of all, they were nothing like the ties we chose in the store. The color was so ugly compared to what we had seen, they weren’t even close to matching my bridesmaids dresses as they had been in the store. The color was faded, fluorescent almost, and there were stains all over the ties. Some of them came out of the bag looking like they had been run over by a car. When I called to complain, I was questioned as if it was my fault that they looked like that and when I told them that we were already at my wedding site and unable to travel back to get new ties, they were less than helpful but ended up overnight shipping ties to where we were, at our expense. The new ties that came(in solid, not in stripe like we had wanted) were a more acceptable color but still poor quality. The tuxes themselves were fantastic despite a few issues with fit. When we returned all of the rentals, we were given a hard time because they say 1 tie was missing. After much arguing, we did not have to pay the $ 40 for this, but after all of the hassle and paying to have overnight shipping, Soirée, the very LEAST you could have done was drop this fee. Never. Again.
