Subway

It really takes a lot to make me write a poor review for a restaurant, I’m a pretty easy going person. I rarely frequent Subway in general, but this was convenient to another errand location I had to hit on my lunch break. I’ve been here a few times before. This location is consistently understaffed during the lunch rush, the line is usually backed up to the door. However, they normally are at least rushing around trying to push people through as fast as they can. Mind you, the staff is different every time I go, so they must quickly get tired of the crap they have to put up with. This time, there were two working there that had NO ambition to accomplish anything, and it took 25 minutes for me to get a sandwich. 25 minutes. To get a sub. I would have walked out and gone elsewhere but then I would have had to drive out of my way and it probably would have taken as long. Food wise, I mean it’s pretty typical Subway. Directions are hard to follow apparently though, as I asked for some lettuce and a little bit of onion, and instead got a few bits of lettuce and enough onion to choke a horse. Just what I wanted to bring back to the office. To top it all off, this location (and ONLY this location as far as I have observed from the several others I frequent) has discontinued offering swiss cheese, which is a shame because that was my, and many other folks’, standards. This location (and again, only this one) only accepts Visa and Mastercard. So for all you cash back, points loving or frequent travelers that use Amex or Discover, sorry you’re out of luck. Next time, I WILL take the time to go somewhere else. Even if it’s 20 minutes away. It’s still worth it.

I ordered the chicken Teriyaki foot long it was mediocre, the sandwich itself would rate 2 stars however at check out I asked for a tap water and was charged $ 2 for a small cup. $ 10.52 for a so so sandwich and Portsmouth water, yikes!!! Next time lunch will be elsewhere.

I can’t believe their staff! The man behind the counter just asked me to hold on a sec to make my order. He continued to clean his area. Then this guy comes out of the restroom and he takes this mans order instead of mind! He was chill but I’m in a rush. Never coming back here.
