Midtown Deli

I had a corned beef sandwich today and it was better than those served at New York delis. The food is excellent, served quickly, handmade, and always with a smile. My wife had a grilled roast beef and she wouldn’t share any with me, it was that good.

I really like this place. Driving by, you’d think it was just a coffee stand and perhaps, at one time it was. Just so you know before coming here, this is a drive-​thru sandwich shop.
Mid-​town Deli serves large sandwiches that can be customized to your liking. They give you a rather large portion of meat and offer several kinds of bread and different condiments. The whole sandwich can easily satisfy one big eater. They’re big. The women who work there are extremely friendly and will even give you free homemade cookies if they like you! The peanut butter ones were delicious.
If you’re going through Post Falls make sure you stop in here and try one of their sandwiches. They have limited hours so make sure you check before you stop by. Great place to get a sandwich if you’re just passing through and don’t feel like going to a sit-​down restaurant. Look for it in the parking lot of the thrift store. Best sandwiches in Post Falls by far!

This place has and deserves five stars across the board. Huge, thick, fresh and quality meats, cheeses and bread. Simple in their offerings but when it’s spot on I don’t need nor want the fluff.

I wish I could give this place more then 5 stars. I have never had a sandwich so good. The service was great, the prices were reasonable and the flavor was unmatched. Incredible. We got two whole sandwiches to share since this was our first time here. They were $ 8.50 per whole. You have to see the pictures.

By far the best sandwich within 50 miles. Huge sammies at a very reasonable price. The two ladies who one the place are great. Do you a favor and stop by.

The day she retires I will cry. Easily the BEST place to get a sandwich within 50 miles. Friendly service at extreamly reasonable prices. For less than $ 10 you will have a two meal portion that you will somehow still manage to eat in one sitting because it is so delicious. I keep begging her to open in Coeur d Alene but will gladly drive to Post Falls any day of the week to have lunch made here.

I had a whole turkey and provolone on rye with mustard and horseradish. The bread was soft and not too thick, ate easily (and yum). The horseradish was quite spicy. Lots of turkey. Saving the other half for later.

When I asked the ladies how long they had been serving there, they said 9 years! I’ve been driving by all this time (5 years) and hadn’t seen it. They were very friendly.

Really good and satisfying sandwiches! Not really a deli… more of a drive thru coffee stand… but that does not hinder the production of quality sandwiches made to order! I will definitely be back! You should try this place!

This is hands down the BEST place to get homemade soup & or mega sandwiches in northern Idaho or eastern Washington. The owners are awesome, menu is diverse and best of all the value can’t be beat!!!

Best sandwich shop in town & the ladies are always so nice!!! We always get the pastrami on french with sweet hot mustard. The portion sizes are huge & worth every penny (:

If I could give them more than 5 stars, I would! Theirs sandwiches are seriously some of the best I’ve EVER had (and I’ve had a lot)! My fiancé and I split the chicken bacon sandwich on rye with dill havarti and not only was it basically two whole sandwiches in one, but it was seriously to die for! And the ladies there are soo friendly and adorable! Definitely go there if you get a chance!

Fantastic! Had their roast beef on French bread with grilled onions toasted! And for less than many fast food places! Yum!

I hardly ever review a place because if the food isn’t good enough for five stars I don’t want to bother. This place is awesome! I’ve only been able to go once since I’m so busy with my own place, but I send people here all of the time! I wish that she would do a special burger with me using her roast beef. Anyway, this girl is very good at what she does and I can’t wait to go and have another French dip!

I’ve been hearing about Midtown for several years now, even hearing about the amazing sandwiches from the owner herself as we floated the Post Falls river together at our mutual friend’s cabin. It’s taken me 2 yrs to get my butt in gear and now that I’ve tried it, I’m kicking my own ass at wasting so much time! Hands down, best sandwiches you can get in the Spokane and Northern Idaho area!!! They’re so big, they barely fit in the styrofoam clamshells… so much meat, you can barely wrap your mouth around it (that’s what she said — haha!)!!! The amazing owner doesn’t waste room with vegetables unless they’re grilled accompaniments (like grilled onions and peppers in the roast beef), and has to die for garlic butter that the bread is grilled with, should you choose to take it grilled. Meat, bread and cheese choices are straightforward. Take her advice and don’t mess with what she makes them with… she is a sandwich master. The turkey bacon comes with homemade Caesar dressing… to die for! The pastrami boasts a hot mustard only found in Canada… mind blowing taste explosion! Seriously people, it’s bread, meat, and cheese — not messin’ around. Midtown is the place to be! Great service from the owner who is a kick in the pants, and an amazing sandwich that will leave you wanting more at a nonsensical low price!

I just ate the Grilled Turkey bacon sandwich, and oh my goodness, it is amazing! I recommend the fresh garlic butter and sweet roasted red peppers on it. Seriously the best sandwich I have EVER had!
