We have been coming to this lot for at least 10 years. If you are expecting your Christmas tree shopping experience to be like something out of an ABC Christmas Special where you arrive all bundled up in earmuffs, scarves and LL Bean ski jackets and the kids are greeted by Frosty the Snowman… If want to stroll around sipping hot apple cider humming along to piped in Christmas Carols while you pick that perfect tree. then this is NOT the place for you. This is a no frills lot… No frills means CHEAPER TREES.
We arrive in shorts and tee shirts. this IS Southern California. wear sunscreen… we bring our own water… we are handed a measuring stick and a red tag to mark the tree we want. .we chose the tree and the guy on the quad marks it and gives us a tag and we go up front to pay. The tree gets brought up and shaken and netted and we leave with a 17 foot tall beautiful tree for 100 bucks.. The trees we get have always been very healthy and lasted well after Christmas.
There is no snack bar. there is no gift shop. there are no kids activities or farm animals or tractor rides. There is not one thing to buy besides Christmas trees.
If you want a frills and fluff kind of lot, Don’t come here.
If you want a beautiful tree at a GREAT price and you can manage to pick it without having your hand held. come here.

Best christmas trees ever!

This is the best place in San Diego County to come pick out a Christmas Tree (or Chanukah Bush). We go every year! It’s a big place, so bring your walking shoes and take your time choosing the ideal tree for your home. They have plenty of help to cut the tree of your choice and they have fireproofing and netting and flocking available. There’s also a neat little gift shop to browse through while the guys are preparing your tree for the trip home. Make it a fun trip to the back country by stopping for breakfast or lunch at the Campo Café on 94 or the Descanso Junction just off the 8 on 79.
