Meadow East Apartments

As a former resident of this complex, I can honestly say that there are goods and bads. The rent is extremely overpriced and the management is terrible. The landlord lives in another state, and has a lady manage it for him, who is NEVER around. The close location to «the strip» (fast food chains, Hackett’s, P&C, etc) is convenient but it’s a good 15 – 20 minute walk from town. Considering that there are only a handful of «apartment complex’s» in Potsdam, this is probably one of the better ones, but that isn’t saying much. Probably around 50% of the residents are students (many are grad students or new faculty). The best part about this place (and why it got 3 stars instead of 2)? The handyman. You’ll never meet a nicer guy who is willing to drop everything to help you out if something’s wrong in your apartment.
