On the 2÷27÷16 I called at 1:45 pm to confirm my 3 pm appointment for updo(my friend told me that the day of her wedding her hair dresser was running late over 1 hour even though she was scheduled the first customer in the morning!!!) When I arrived I waited for 20min and then when I questioned if I’ll be done by 4pm as discussed, I was told that my hair dresser will be ready in few more minutes, I asked right the way what exactly is few more minutes and it turned out to be another 15 minutes(reality 20min more, but I was told 15 by the lady from reception who probably wanted to cover up this mess up)! I freaked out and was about to LEAVEWITHMYHAIRNOTDONE to be on time for the evening event and I guess just straighten my hair myself. It stressed me out more then if I have to do my hair myself, they ended up starting me with one lady, then another took over, I was done late, wasn’t very happy with the updo, I guess they tried to rush seeing me almost crying and edgy. Bad start of the night and I made this reservation so «I don’t have to worry about doing my hair.»

After giving Lords and Ladies a second chance(after they completely butchered my hair for college graduation 3 years ago), I am absolutely livid once again. I had a lash and brow tint appointment 1÷26÷16, in which I made my appointment online through their website. After requesting Heather(because of two friends recommendations), It was brought to my attention that her charge was $ 40 for lash and brow tint, which was fine. After leaving Lords and Ladies Sinking Spring location that day, I realized I was overcharged for the services. I first reached out on Facebook Messenger, second through my friend who works at the Exeter location, and finally through email. After days with no response from L&L(besides my friend at the Exeter location letting me know they would be in touch), I messaged them again and they finally got back to me requesting I send them a picture of my receipt and the emails going back and forth about my appointment(specifying that the charge was $ 40). I forwarded the emails and my receipt as an attachment immediately… sent them a follow up email and message on Facebook a few days later… and STILL, over two weeks have gone by, I yet to have a response OR refund for my overcharge at the Salon. I have never experienced such ridiculous customer service in my life. I was giving L&L a SECOND chance and I was overcharged and ignored! Someone needs to fix this issue and refund my money. I am absolutely appalled at the lack of urgency L&L has towards their customers.

Great hair cut, well trained employees … However you can’t add a tip on a credit card, so people have to use the ATM and get charged … Not fair to employees … And inconvenient for customers. Great haircut though!

LOVE! Seriously though, I have been going there on and off over the years for probably 20 years. Never had a bad stylist or a bad cut. I followed Lynn there originally from Capelli’s at Coventry Mall. Amy was my stylist for a long time and even did my hair for my wedding. Just went Sunday for a new professional cut to replace the long shaggy hair I had been sporting for over a year. Brandy was PERFECT and her highlights and style were spot on. So pleased and I just do not have a bad word to say. The staff is so pleasant and I love the space. You will not go wrong with any of the stylists.

I’ve been to other locations but at this one(which I have been at several times) I’ve always had the best service. I’ve always loved how the stylist would cut and highlight my hair. I don’t usual schedule and just walk in. I’ve always walked out of this place satisfied!

I have been going to Lords and Ladies off and on for 8 years now, maybe longer. When I lived in the area, Amy was my go-to stylist for my long, thick hair. Now that I’ve moved away, I coordinate my haircuts with my visits home just so that I can get Amy’s perfect cut! The salon is cute, and you don’t really realize how big it is because of the charm of the old house – lots of little rooms and alcoves. The second floor is the spa where I have gotten my eyebrows waxed multiple times. I would definitely recommend this salon, especially Amy if she’s still there – I haven’t been back since she did my pre-wedding cut in September ’13.

Went to this salon for years, however I cannot recommend it. Not only are they overpriced, they have an attitude. I felt like I had to dress up to get my hair done. Once there, most employees looked down at me. I missed the way it used to be.

Way over priced for the work they do, and they never take you on time when you have an appt. I can go to walk in place and get served quicker then when having appt here.

Wow, no reviews on this place yet? I have been going to Lords and Ladies for about 10 years now, since I was a teenager. Located in Pottstown, this place is definitely a gem. I am willing to pay ridiculous amounts of money to make sure I have someone I trust styling my hair. But guess what? I can leave Lords and Ladies with an amazing cut/color without breaking the bank. They are affordable, talented, and extremely professional. Most recently, I had my hair styled by Lisa. When I originally was recommended to her my hair was a mess. I had gone to a cheap ‘salon’ that somehow managed to cut off way too much, and add layers that were way too choppy. I didn’t think it was possible to fix this, but Lisa did a great job. She told me that all of the stylists have continuing education, and it certainly shows in their work. I returned to her over the next few years and was pleased every time. She always made a point to talk about what I wanted done, show me how much she was going to cut off, and discuss pricing. She recommended products but was never pushy. She is also probably one of the sweetest, friendliest women I’ve ever met! Since moving out of the area, I was lucky enough to find another salon with the same professional demeanor and talented stylists!
