LOVE going to The White Pear! I’ll NEVER pay full price for a dress ever again! So many dresses to chose from and one for every occasion! Always something new so I always walk away with the Pear-fect dress :) Thanks Pearettes!

This place is amazing! As a plus size girl, I find comfort in knowing that have a wide selection of dresses! The staff here makes you feel so great about yourself! I left the store feel so good about myself and my dress!

I went into your store today to shop for my 13 year old daughter’s formal dress with her, just like I have been in there before with my older daughter. The previous trips with my oldest daughter were great moments. As a father of daughters will tell you, it’s hard keeping close to them to where they want you to be with them to pick out formal dresses(not Mom and Dad, just Dad). I’m proud and fortunate that I have that relationship with mine. I left your store embarrassed, uncomfortable and unfairly robbed of having that moment with my youngest daughter. When one of your employees announced in her loudest voice that she heard«a male» laughing with my daughters(because we were having a good time) and that men weren’t allowed to help pick out clothes because other customers wear robes in the store and I’d have to sit up front, I went up front feeling like I was being looked at by everyone in the store as some kind of pervert that was peeking into dressing rooms(couldn’t be farther from the truth). I went and sat up front because the most important thing was my daughter find the perfect dress that she’d be happy in. I realized quickly that where I had to sit was where everyone comes out to show off the dress with their family in the mirror. I left, as sitting there made me more uncomfortable as these poor girls were trying to look in the mirror as I tried to avoid looking any more like the pervert your employee made the store think I was. While I appreciate the desire to make customers trying dresses on feel comfortable, I question why you made the decision. Your employee told me it was because people wear robes in the store. I’d venture to say that the average robe covers up more of your customers than some of your dresses do. I’d also question the decision based on me being male… Do you screen women for their sexual preferences before letting them shop there? If I was gay, would I have been allowed to shop with my daughters? I’m sure you feel justified in your decision and that’s fine, it’s your store and you can make those decisions as you see fit. You can certainly delete this post, or defend why you made me feel like I did something wrong simply shopping, but I’d caution any father who plans on spending a day picking out a special dress with his daughter… this isn’t the store where you’ll be allowed to have that special day. At best you’re nothing more than a ride and a wallet to this store, at worst you’re a creepy pervert that only went in to leer at other shoppers.
