Great value, impeccably clean, incredibly friendly staff… and free hot tea while you wait to pick up your order. Plenty of parking in the street and in back. Standard US/​Chinese menu items, the ones I’ve tasted so far are perfectly ok and priced fairly. 4 chefs on duty plus an order taker so the wait wasn’t long during the evening rush.

The owner is really cool, the food is great. I would say it’s the best Chinese food in this area. The beef chow fun with wide noodles are delicious. The Singapore rice noodles are perfect every time if you like a little spicy. I haven’t had any disappointments with anything I order here.

Love Chans; solid food for great value; the owner is a good guy and I always enjoy going there with my friends. The portions are fair and the place was recently renovated so it has a nice ambiance. My only complaint is that they do not deliver. I would have spent much more money at the restaurant if they delivered.

We’ve ordered from here a couple of times now and each time the order is correct, hot, and fresh. Close to campus. They process the orders pretty quickly. I enjoy that the lemon chicken is a whole breast, breaded and fried, not those little chicken poppers. The wonton soup is good, as are the egg rolls and spring rolls. We will keep ordering from here!

The food here is authentic Chinese. We love the chow fun, shrimp and broccoli and BBQ spare ribs. I had them deliver food for 20 to the gym at Vassar for a post basketball game dinner. Everything was perfect and the food so plentiful that the boys were able to take a bunch back to their dorms since Darrin was kind enough to bring takeout boxes for the leftovers. We will definitely eat here every time we visit Poughkeepsie.

My go to for Chinese in the area. Love the house special chow fun. The won ton soup is delicious and their fried rice is never greasy. Fast and efficient, they even take cards now.

Three entrees for $ 26, not too bad.
It took us about 30 mins to get it home, we did take-​out obviously. Once home, It was still piping hot. Good sign.
Was good, good flavor, decent amount. The fried rice was ok; could’ve use more eggs, veggies, and a few pieces of pork/​meat.
Not bad overall though.
The staff efficient, friendly, and order was
ready upon arrival.

Honestly, the BEST chinese food in Poughkeepsie! I’ve tried many places and Chans Peking had the freshest ingredients and therefore a scrumptious taste. This is my to go to chinese, I don’t go anywhere else. Best spare ribs, lo mein, dim sum and egg drop soup I’ve had in potown. I definitely recommend you go there, but bring cash because the credit card minimum is $ 15, was $ 20 before

We’re so happy Chan’s reopened again on Raymond Avenue! The food is always fresh and prepared just right. The location is very convenient and they have their own private parking lot in the rear. We’re always greeted with a warm smile in their bright, clean restaurant. We highly recommend Chan’s on Raymond Avenue for a delicious Chinese lunch or dinner. –Joli and Al

SOOO HAPPY they are open again!!! …and the food has not changed… its as great as I remember it… fantastic singapore rice noodles, mouth watering crab rangoon with yummy homemade duck sauce. Hot n sour soup, great as ever. So wonderful that they havent changed a thing… I go here as much as I possibly can! GREAT FOOD… oh and DO NOT mix this restaurant up with the one on Vassar Rd… totally different and no where near as good!!!
