DBS Remodel

We used the services of DBS for a major renovation of our home which included a new kitchen, the removal of walls (one a bearing wall) and the installation and/​refinishing of hardwood floors throughout the entire house. I cannot say enough about the quality and professionalism of this company. Everyone in the company must have to drink the «customer satisfaction» Kool-​Aid. From our first planning meeting with Bob we were confident about the project. In fact we left for vacation during the first 10 days of the project. Through their online project website we could watch the progress via pictures posted and status reports and got real time updates through FaceTime whenever we wanted.
We had heard horror stories from friends about delayed projects and sub-​contractor delays. These guys run a well-​oiled machine. DBS assigned a dedicated project manager, Rob, who developed and followed a detailed project plan. He was a real craftsman who took care of every detail and was always conscious of minimizing any inconvenience to us. Subcontractors arrived when scheduled and were expected to follow their rules of cleanliness and professionalism. Rob was onsite the everyday from 8 – 5 and his attention to detail was amazing. He finished on schedule in 8 weeks (despite my changes and add ons). He was just a pleasure to work with.
So many little things make DBS stand out. They set up a 6 foot portable kitchen cart that had electrical hook up to make life easier during the renovation. It was fully equipped with disposable kitchen utensils, plates, napkins, a microwave and 3 gallons of water. Unbelievable! And every day the house was vacuumed and swept prior to leaving.
I can’t say enough about the company. The entire first floor turned out beautiful. Friends are impressed with the quality of the work and can’t believe we got done on time. Love these guys… so much so that we signed contract for another project in the spring. If I sound like a DBS born-​again, it’s because I am and I’d be happy to provide a reference to any potential client. Got for it. You won’t be disappointed.

Not just as good as it gets… but far better! DBS Remodel has exceeded our expectations from day one of our meeting to discuss plans to replace an existing front porch and add a roof to the front entry of the house. Curb appeal went from blah to awesome.
All admin support staff were professional, courteous and helpful. The onsite crew was equally accommodating, friendly, timely and definitely expert craftsmen who executed our architectural drawings beautifully. Care was taken at every step to ensure that our home and grounds were kept neat and clean. This is a business you can trust to do what you contract for.
