Now that thay have changed to Jeff Deli the orders are always wrong. I stopped going there cause nothing ever comes out right. And the food isn’t to good. Your better off going to Vassar. Awesome wraps and other fresh food.

Seems like a pretty good deli. They have a good stock of boar’s head deli meats. Lots of Pepsi products and wise chips. They have a large selection of made to order hot sandwiches. There are two small tables to eat at, but I get the impression they do mostly take out or delivery. The staff seems nice. It is in the shadows of Vassar hospital. A good place to go if you want a quick sandwich.

I wait for my friend at the hospital and have stopped three times at Fonzie’s Deli. I have had three different sandwiches: 1 Breakfast Sandwich. Fantastic. Fonzie made the sandwich exactly like I wanted. It really tasted the way I like it. And the employees are very friendly and I like talking. 2 Another day i had a chicken salad sandwich and it couldn’t have tasted better. The quality is excellent. 3 Last time I had a ham and cheese sub. Boy was it tasty and very affordable, since I left my wallet in the car and had enough in my pants to pay for it. I recommend a quick sandwich to go to Fonzie’s Deli near the Vassar Hospital in Poughkeepsie.

Well, this place opened last year sometime and no one ever opened a Unilocal account so I did it for them! I would pass the place on my way to work and never thought about going in till this past week when me and my friend decided to check it out. A little place with a few tables to eat, a full case of really cold soda, teas, etc, and a nice set up for the deli meats. I ordered a pannini and it was really good. I never had this combination before so it interested me, turkey, smoked gouda cheese, onions, peppers and a condiment I don’t recall the name for but very good. I also had macaroni salad and it was fresh and a cold Pepsi. All I ate under $ 10, not bad for lunch. My friend came in under $ 10 as well and he had a sandwich, soda and a huge plate of onion rings! While we were there, a line formed from people getting lunch from Vassar Hospital(assuming they are one of the biggest clients this place has) and they had a steady business. My friend was disappointed since it was called Fonzie’s, he would see Potsie, Richie, Ralph or even Chachi but none were there. The owner whose name is Fonzie(I heard a few customers call him that, I did not ask) was backed up by another cook and the person who takes the orders(in person and on the phone) was very friendly. He even left to deliver something at one point. I believe the hours are Mon– Fri 6AM– 5PM, Sat 8 – 2 and closed Sunday. I could be wrong about the hours so call. Overall, a very pleasant experience and would go back again.
