I just got off the phone with a employee she was so nasty & was acting like I was bothering her I made a online purchase from Sears & had a question about it the phone # & address on my receipt ended up being Kmart I was very confused & was trying to tell this nasty witch if I didn’t call I would have went to Sears to pick up my order«because that’s where I ordered it» she said well the address is there I should have known ok because I’m Google maps! She should work in the back away from customers & phone’s. But it’s nothing new with that store there all nasty the store is dirty & forget getting any help your better paying more money going someplace else.

I have shopped in this Kmart quite a few times, but have stopped due to the miss tagging of merchandise. When I go to the one in Yorktown Heights, or even on South Road in Poughkeepsie they tag clearance at one price. When they do the % off why is it that it’s over double just in this store and not the others. Yes, if I see something I want I will travel to look for it. I have never seen a store with so much stock of clothes, you need to stop price gauging and let some of it go. Plus what the hell is with the circular racks mushed in with the other stocks. You go through a mine field by children’s to look those things. One thing this place can do is be conhesiant(?) with the other Kmarts on MARKDOWNS. Secondly, hire more employees and fire the rude ones that work there now. Thirdly, nah. I’m sticking with S. Road and Yorktown. I know Yes 1 register and lines going to food… But Walmart is the same way!

Worst Kmart store condition I’ve ever seen. Helpful if I desperately need something that’s not at a nearby store. I always feel like I’m overpaying because the experience is so bad. No complaints about the service or employes… I just wonder how they go to the depressing place every day.

UNBELIEVEABLE! READTHESTORYFORDETAILS: On Friday, December 14, 2012, I visited K-mart on my lunch hour from work. I had a sweater to exchange solely for a different size, plus I wanted to pick up a few other items. When I entered the store, the line for returns was very, very long. So, I decided to shop first and see if I could just make the sweater exchange at the cashier’s counter. During check-out, I asked the cashier if I could also make the size exchange at her register, she replied that she could not do that, but then told me that as long as it was just a size exchange for the same, exact sweater, I could get the new sweater from the rack, bring it over near the customer service counter and just make the exchange myself without having to wait on line. Well, I tried that, but«Annie» from Customer Service(I mean DIS-service) told me that I had to go and wait in that massive returns line. I then explained that I was only making an even swap for a size(same color, style), but she told me that it still had to be done through the register and that she couldn’t take me, I would have to go wait on line for help from«Debbie». I was very annoyed at having been given two different stories by employees working at the same store, so I begrudgingly went to wait on the long line, even though I was running out of time on my lunch hour. Several minutes later, I look over at Annie, who is telling yet another customer(whom just walked up to the customer service counter) that she cannot help them with their return/exchange and that they also must go wait in the long returns line. The other customer starts making a big stink about that, saying things like«Are you kidding me?» etc., etc., So, then I see Annie give into this whining customer, and I was stunned and very angered to see that Annie went ahead & did the other customer’s transaction, right in front of me, even though she told ME just a few minutes earlier that I HAD to go and WAIT in that long line!!! When I saw that happen, I walked up to the counter and called over to Annie and said«Oh, you tell me that I have to go and wait in the returns line for a simple size exchange, but now you’re going to help someone else that cut in the line because they’re giving you a hard time?» The other customer heard me, and apologized to me for cutting the line, and said that she was«in a hurry.» I replied«So am I; I’m on my lunch hour!». Finally, I got to the counter and ended up getting Annie anyway! I told her that was WRONG of her to tell me that I had to go wait on line, but then she takes someone else just because they started whining about having to wait. Annie NEVER apologized to me, and just kept on telling me that I could go to «speak with her supervisor». I kept on trying to tell Annie that you CAN’T tell one customer to go wait in a long line, but then take someone else when they give you a hard time. She then had the GALL to tell me that she did it because«someone told that customer that she could come here without having to wait.» HA! Well, «someone» told me that, too, but it sure as hell didn’t seem to matter in my case. What a joke that place is. That is the LAST time that I ever shop at this DUMP!

Kmart must have a list of stores scheduled for demolition; I think to that end they stop maintaining them altogether. THIS is one of those stores! Super ghetto. Appearance aside, it offers the classic Kmart shopping experience.

This may be the very worst place to shop, ever. It is disorganized and messy and there are never any employees to help you out. But on Halloween it’s a really great place to come and get last-minute costume bits for markdown prices(tip for Vassar students, haha).
