Stopped by the other week, door to building was open but nobody was there and meat fridge was empty. Tried calling and it’s a non working number

Grain fed beef is good. Local beef is good. In my house kosher beef is needed. Local, grain fed kosher beef is the holy grail. I am going to preface this statement with the fact that I am only reviewing the kosher beef. I have not had the regular beef, but I imagine it can only be better than the kosher variety.
If you read my prior reviews discussing kosher steak houses and beef, you will learn that I am pretty harsh to the vast majority of the kosher purveyors in this city. It is a shame, but I generally find that kosher beef lacks flavor and is often tough where non-​kosher meat is not. One day my wife was wandering in Union Square Green Market and saw the sign for NY Beef Company. It listed kosher meat. We bought some chopped meat. Best chopped meat I have had, kosher or not. We have since bought brisket, rib steaks, etc. So good I cannot begin to describe how much more I enjoy eating red meat at home. Try some. You will never buy at Super Sol again.
