Rita’s is awesome!!! Everything is delicious and fairly priced. I agree it’s a bummer that they don’t have outdoor seating but unfortunately in Poughkeepsie, it would get ruined. Staff is always helpful, welcoming to letting you try flavors and very pleasant to talk to. Wish it was open all year!

It’s Rita’s, so if you’ve been to one then you know how delicious their italian ice is. This Rita’s is no exception. They are in a convenient location in the plaza with K & D Deli and Domino’s in Poughkeepsie. They have rotating flavors of italian ice and gilato, all of which you can sample before making your choice. The only negative I could think of about this location is that there is no outdoor seating to sit at while enjoying your frozen treat.
