The food was great, the atmosphere is pleasant but the service was just plain amazing!
My family stopped in for dinner and our server was very attentive and polite and her timing with courses and checking on us was always excellent. These would all be signs of a good server, but she did this while also handling a party of about 20 (all separate checks), which puts her way past «good.» If we had not been seated in the same room as this large party, we never would have known they were there from the level of attention we received.
Our meals were excellent and if you eat in or eat out you will be satisfied, but if you do take out you will miss out on the incredible service.

Great little place. Tony does a great job there. Excellent food reasonable prices. We enjoy going there nice interior, but we did a takeout for five people, dinners salad etc., under$ 100, we had leftovers you would not believe. Very generous portions. Very enjoyable place

If i could give a 0 star rating I would. The owner has no clue what customer service means. This coming from a long time customer. I’d prefer to drive twice the distance. At his place the customer is always wrong.

Food quality is excellent, fresh n diverse. Table service is very good. The grilled ribeye was so tasty. We finished with homemade canolis.

Great prices, large portions, delicious food and excellent service! What more can you ask for? Try the Penne a la Vodka or The Chicken Parmesan. You won’t be disappointed.

Decent for basic styles of pizza. They do Italian grub as well but there is a better joint just down the road. The staff is pleasant and the bathrooms clean, so I would certainly stop in again on the way home for a slice.

I have been here twice now. Both times I’ve been disappointed. The first time I ordered the Manicotti and was told it comes with the small salad included in the price. When I went to pay for the food I was told by the gentleman behind the counter that the salad was extra. Seems to me that the older brunette waitress should have known this. The Manicotti was a little cold but not too bad tasting. The salad was ok for what it was. I didn’t make a fuss and paid the extra for the salad.
I went back about a month later and picked up a chicken cutlet hero to go with mayonnaise on it. I made it a point to tell the guy behind the counter to please put extra mayonnaise on it because I don’t like dry sandwiches. I go to eat my sandwich only to discover that it is bone dry with hardly and mayonnaise on it. How can you confuse extra mayonnaise and no mayonnaise? I will not go back to this place.

I have always been used to my late Mother-in-law’s incredible Sicilian cooking — I have been to Pleasant Ridge Pizza several times now and I can say their food rivals Rosie’s.
Excellent flavor — had Veal Parm on Saturday night and it was SUPERB! Just like Rosie used to make — nice people, great service and a cozy place to dine!

Pizza slices are huge and not bad. Contrary to other Unilocalers, I found the service exceptionally pleasant. The place looks nice too. Overall, thumbs up.

this place has very good food. large portions. the crust is not really thin, but it is not doughy either. many places in the area have doughy crusts. the owner is always quick to check on your order if it seems you have been standing for 5 minutes since ordering. when i was waiting on a few dinners to go i understood a delay, he apologized for waiting and asked if i wanted a drink.
be careful if you order at lunch they charged the higher dinner price to friend and myself. when we questioned it the waitress told us we didn’t specify lunch, she never asked and it was 2pm. since we didn’t say lunch we supposedly had a larger serving. i have ordered dinners before and size was larger in dinners. the owner was quick to credit me back when i spoke to him directly.
so over all good food good portions. just specify lunch for lower menu price if you go at lunch times.

This is ver y decent pizza. I always get stuff «to go» rather than dining in. I haven’t tried any entrees, but I have had a few Chicken Parmigiana heroes from here, and they have always been delicious. Ditto for the chicken rolls.
As for the owners, I can’t say. The staff takes my order and serves my food, and always say «thank you» when I’m leaving.

Good pizza, fair prices… reasonable service. If you want pizza around their area you can do FAR worse.

Great pizza and amazing service! It’s a great place to pop in for a quick slice, but they also have a good dinner selection. They’re going to be expanding the dining area — that should give you an idea of how popular this place is. The owner even devised a nitrogen-​charge system to keep the huge bottles of house wine at their freshest (check it out, it’s right at the bar area).
I came in a while ago with an odd question — I wanted to bring some NY pizza to some ex New Yorkers living in VA, and I figured the best way to do it would be to buy some pizza dough. Tony (the owner) would have sold me the dough, but instead he threw a couple of pies in the oven and cooked them so they were a little undercooked, and left them unsliced. They survived beautifully during the ride, and finished off perfectly in the oven. Oh yeah, I had come in right around opening time, and Tony invited me to a cup of coffee. I don’t know of anywhere else where you really feel like such a welcome guest.

dont bother with this place… ugggh. i dont even know why people go here or how its stayed in business. the pizza is not good and the food is mediocre… and dont get me started on the owners.
