Every year I discover just one «rare gem» contractor and Acorn (Carl and employees) are one of them! Below are my criteria for reviewing contractors and Acorn rated highly on each of them. 1. These guys are pros! We had a top blow off of a tree during a recent windstorm that got hung up, causing it to be precariously hanging waiting to fall. My wife called three tree services and they were the first to call back. They came out and gave us a free estimate and Carl was great. I frankly asked how much more to take the trees down to the ground, and he gave a great price.
They showed up early the day they were scheduled, worked very efficiently and had 3 trees on the ground with the back yard picked up in no time. These trees were positioned at the corner of our property with 6′ cedar fence below and these professional arborists made sure that nothing was damaged and not one limb fell into our neighbor’s yards! They cleaned up nicely and left all of the trunk to burn in our fireplace (our choice). Also appreciative for the military as they gave me a discount! Great service.
