We purchased a new living room set from Northwest Furniture, a company also owned by Constance who owns Bad Blanche. We knew it would take a while to get as it was being made just for us. Our sales person was Steve and he was great! Steve was a huge help with the entire process, I honestly cannot say enough good things about him. However, we’ve had some pretty major problems with our furniture and have had a very hard time getting anything done about it. Dealing with Constance, the owner has been a major pain as she seems to forget to follow through on anything. We are now working with the manager Rick and quite frankly, he’s like a used car salesman. I actually had to file a complaint with the BBB before getting their attention and showing them I am not just going too go away, they must deal with this problem. Well, a month later and still no resolution. Buy your furniture any where but here! Ashley furniture would have been better and cheaper than what I got for a lot more money.

I was visiting Seattle with my Hubby. We took a ferry to Bainbridge and drove around and found the quaint Norwegian/​Scandinavian town of Pulsbo. Bad Blanche was the last shop we strolled into after a power outage.
As another Unilocaler mentioned that the establishment contained some eclectic gifts and home items. A browsing good time.
My husband found a funky wooden fish on metal wheels. He thought it was pretty cool. It was like an old vintage toy. He kept rolling it around while I was shopping about. We left without it.
After returning home. I called the store to see if it was still there for purchase. Trina was a gem. I guess when I called she had just put the fish down and knew exactly the item in which I was speaking of. It was meant to be that the fish and Hubby were reunited. We were able to do everything over the phone and have it shipped to me. The fish is wrapped and ready for Hubby’s b/​day. Thank you to the very professional and helpful Trina.

two, formerly three locations of bad blanche… one in downtown poulsbo, one at hostmark and highway 305 to bainbridge… i’m going to be fair and say that yes, i’ve found a couple of interesting things and also purchased some furniture from both establishments but will now not ever shop there (either place again)…here’s why
it seems that every time I purchased furniture (a couple chairs, couch and other assorted smaller pieces) there was always some issues… didn’t have it when they said they did… wasn’t where it was supposed to be when we came to pick up, no one knows anything about it… etc… I mean, I could go on but really, why? THEN, the straw that finally broke that old camel’s back… when someone I knew purchased something (furniture wise) and oh my GOD the chaos that ensued just getting that damn order right… it was simply ridiculous and if I could remember the name of the idiot that «took care» of these people’s order i’d plaster it all over hell and back. but alas… i’m old and can’t remember (lucky brat) anyways… no, I will never grace the doorways of this establishment again… why give money to this business person that runs their business this way?
my recommendation? don’t do it…
