This place is very beautiful as far as the outside design work goes. And I don’t know about you but my experience anywhere is always better when I walk into a beautiful building.
The staff there are really friendly. Which is very refreshing because I have been to some libraries where the librarians have a «greater than thou» attitude and if that’s the case I will just leave.
The first time I was here the librarian at the reference desk dropped everything to make sure she got me signed up for a card and that I thoroughly understood how to access all the resources available.
The only down fall is they have A LOT of unused space. The library itself is 2 stories and books are only found on 1 and there is a big empty room on the bottom floor. Wish they had more books to choose from

Along with your magazine, you sink yourself into the comfortable easy chair. The fire crackles and you feel the warmth from the fireplace sooth your cold skin. It’s quiet and relaxing — a fantastic way to spend your day after an exhausting week.
Poulsbo’s library is beautiful! Their selection is a pretty good one too compared to the Silverdale or Sylvan way library. Especially when it comes to the magazines. I always imagine it being the perfect place to go to during a rainy (or snowy) day. There’s free wifi and of course, you can find some pretty good movies — what more could you ask for? Aside from maybe a little café. In the time where we have our electronic readers sometimes we forget how the library can be a type of sanctuary. So, put down your kindle or nook and feel the pages of an actual book!

Very nice library for such a small town. Great book selection, plenty of places to hide away and look at a book (or 5), free wifi and a great staff of helpful folks.
