Poulsbo Running

I have had problems getting the right running shoe, someone suggested that I try Poulsbo Running. Not sure who helped me but thank you so much! Did my first run in my new shoes and my legs and feet feel GREAT! If you need running shoes and not sure what you need, I highly recommend giving Poulsbo Running a chance.

Awesome place! I went in thinking how I normally do when I buy shoes, if it fits it’ll work. Boy have I been missing out. Chris asked me some questions about what I’m going to be doing in them, which I’m not one to go out and run marathons. I told him about the kind of workouts I do which is weight training and treadmill work, I gave him my size and he came out with a couple different options. He asked about how my feet felt during my workouts as I tried on the first shoe and ran in them. He then had me try on a second shoe that had a little more cushion, that was the one I bought. As soon as I took a couple steps I could tell they were the ones!
In all I was extremely pleased with the service I received. Chris found the perfect shoe for what I do, and the guy knows his stuff, wether you need more support, if you should have a wider shoe, lower to the ground etc. I’d highly recommend Poulsbo Running to anyone who is looking a new set of kicks! They also have a bunch of other things there as well that I didn’t get around to checking out. I won’t be buying workout shoes anywhere else!

Need running shoes? Come here! I was on the hunt for some good shoes, but didn’t know where to start. The person working asked me some questions, then made me run on the sidewalk outside to see how my feet behaved. He then gave me a couple of pairs to try on (and run in again) until I found the prefect pair. Thanks, Poulsbo Running!

I LOVE this store! Brooke and Chris have the best shoe selection. They have great staff that know how to fit shoes for your activity/​foot. There are also great running/​athletic apparel and accessories. Everything I have bought at Poulsbo Running has held up to heavy use for longer than I expect. Great local business!

I was extremely disappointed. Went in to get a couple of pairs of shoes that met the needs of my feet and walking plans. I gave them some information — they asked me no questions and basically just brought out new version of the shoes I already had. I was the only customer in the store and felt like I was interrupting their social time. Basically, I was left on my own to determine if the shoes were right for what I needed. When I mentioned that one pair hurt my foot, the response was «that’s weird».
When I left without buying anything, they seemed offended even though they had done nothing. I have shopped at Sound Sports and expected the same level of service since the stores are related but I could have been at Famous Footwear based on the service I received.

Great running store! I went in with my complicated foot issues, and was amazed with the knowledgable staff. Brooke sat with me, had me try on various brands, take them for a test run around the building, and really walked me through everything from my injuries to my gait, and found me a great pair of running shoes! They weren’t pushing the priciest shoes on me, simply the best ones for my feet! Their prices arent the cheapest, but they are competitive, and with the outstanding service, I felt like I got a great value! I can’t recommend poulsbo running highly enough, and am so thankful for their help, knowledge and service!

First time visiting store (and only time), not only was I treated horribly, but the person «assisting» me turned out to be the owner. Horridly and extremely rude, snotty service.
For anything athletic, including a good pair of running shoes, I highly DO NOT RECOMMEND this store. I strive to support locally owned stores, but in the future will travel to the mall instead.
