Pizza to go. Hot & Sweet BBQ Chicken pizza pineapple, bacon, chili flakes and the softest Adamized crust. No pasta sauce on this pizza. Perfect layer of tangy BBQ sauce with a lingering after taste of heat. Plenty of white chicken breast to fill you up. It was the perfect pizza to have after being outside during Poulsbo Julefest. Medium size pizza made 10 slices and good size for 2 – 3 people.

Great pizza. Good sized slices. Cool design. Good parking. Cheap $ 11.00 for 3 big slices and two Cokes. Clean. Happy employees who are polite and clean. Go there.

My wife and I are pizza lovers!!! We can make a pretty mean pie ourselves but we like to try new places from time to time. We moved here 3 month ago or so and this was the first place we went to when we arrived here. On our first visit we loved the pizza, well cooked, taste slightly charred crust, loads of topping, quality toppings and a slightly spicy flavorful sauce. Since our first visit here we have tried Round Table, Spiro’s, Campana’s and Tony’s, Westside and Toad’s. I can say that after our second visit here tonight that this is our favorite place so far. The pizza is excellent. I really want to give the place a little lower rating just because I think the place should be cleaner than it is but it’s a pizza joint plan and simple and the pizza is worth 4 stars. Stop in and give it a try, sit on the deck and enjoy the view of the bay!

I am a super picky pizza person and this was hands-down one the best pizzas I’ve eaten. We ordered the Hawaiian and added jalapeños. The ingredients were fresh, the crust was delicious, and the ratio of sauce to cheese was perfect. Awesome pizza at a reasonable price!

Solid pizza, reasonable prices, friendly staff. Minimal seating but the place is clean and cozy if you’re going to stick around. It’s artisanal style but doesn’t feel pretentious.

Really nice staff, good pizza, and in a good location. It’s an off the water place and a little odd but it lends to the casualness.

Friendly, and good pizza, that summarizes this restaurant. Good variety of pizza by the slice as well as whole pies. Medium crust thickness, overall good pies. Very modestly priced food, with beer and wine available. We will be back.

Not going to lie, going here was not my first choice, but the person with me wanted to give it a try. The atmosphere is not fancy or dingy, a bit dark, pretty average. Feels a bit like a dungeon to me… I know that sounds weird but it was kind of dark and there were a lot of wood accents. The staff wasn’t rude but they weren’t particularly friendly, the girl at the register was fairly expressionless. The pizza was better than I expected, but very average. I have super high standards with my pizza, and I was really expecting worse. The crust is thin, and the toppings are fairly generous, but the quality of the ingredients were nothing different than something you can buy at the average store. The wood oven gives it a good crisp texture that I did appreciate. The price was fair, and what I would think appropriate for the quality. Overall, a pretty averagely solid choice for pizza in Poulsbo.

My 50 or so pizzas ordered from here over the past couple of years have been consistently good. That’s important to me. Love wood fired pizzas, they deliver very well at Poulsbo Woodfired. The building they are in is as old as dirt. It was put together on a budget, and it looks it, but that, for me, is part of the charm. They aren’t pretending to be something they’re not like a few of their neighbors, they know exactly what they are and they deliver a great product with what they have to work with. It’s not a 5 star for me, I have had better woodfired pizza in my travels around the globe, but I’m definitely a fan of this place and it is my go-to for pizza. Don’t go in expecting 5 star dining, just go in for good old wood fired pizza to eat at a wooden picnic-style table and you’ll have fun. Despite the rundown look, they are clean in the back, stand there at the counter and watch them work, you can see for yourself.

Beware the alcohol Nazi. I walked from our boat in the marina, ordered a glass of wine while waiting for take out, and was refused service. The Italian restaurant next door is much better.

Our pizza was cooked perfectly but seemed to take longer than it should. The small was enough for two with leftovers. Service was below par and took forever. Free refills on drinks a plus. Ingredients seemed fresh and fine. Overall good pizza but not the best we’ve ever had.

I don’t know why the rating is so low, their pizza is great! Also they have free refills on soda. What’s not to like? In my city of Seattle, there are plenty of pizza places but the Wood Fired Pizza House here is one place I have to go to at least once a year.

We came by here today and ordered a large«Carnivore» pizza! It was pretty glorious, outstanding pizza and man that pizza was overflowing with toppings! Very good toppings and the flavors were tasty! Friendly service and a nice place to stop by and enjoy the views outside on a nice day, today was rather chilly even with the sun out! Brrr… you come here for the pizza and the view outside. Nothing fancy, but a perfect place to grab a bite. As already mentioned by other reviews, they don’t have a restroom. That’s ok, there’s one a few steps away, but a definitely a great place to come and support a local business!

Tasty pizzas at a decent price. I love that they do minis(8″) and by the slice. Gorgeous view of the water from the porch.

I was anxious to try out this(wood fired) pizza restaurant… I mean, it’s gotta be good if it was voted best pizza in 2011&2012 for North Kitsap. The restaurant is run down, dark, dingy & dirty. I don’t know what was in this restaurant prior to them… but, to have a sink & two(bathroom) paper towel dispensers right in the midst of the dining area of the restaurant it’s just gross. If the dining area looks this bad… how clean & organized are the back room & cooking area? Would I return, or recommend this pizza restaurant? Absolutely not…

Quick lunch here with a coworker, really good stuff. While I greatly enjoy devouring entire pizzas, by the slice places have my waistline and wallet’s best interests at heart. The price is a little bit more than Westside’s lunch special, and about the same as Seabeck’s slices. Six bucks isn’t bad for the size and taste of the two slices you get. No sides this meal, as we were a bit short for time. Pizza was greasy, but the good kind. Our wait staff wasn’t attentive, but they were nice. A good cheap option for lunch if you’re in the area. One last thing, there’s a bin for your dishes by the door. There’s no sign that we saw, so if you don’t already know, you’ll be sitting there awkwardly wondering what to do with your plates.

It was a small place with premade pizza slices that were sitting out. She warned up my slice, but it was still cold and did not taste good. The doors were open and it was cold! The service was not great either. I will not be returning.

YUM, this is some good pizza! My boyfriend and I split a medium pepperoni and black olive pizza(plus mushrooms on my half) and it was SOGOOD. A little bit hard to eat at times(some of it I had to knife and fork), but still awesome. Greasy, but the oh so good kind. Tons of toppings, lots of sauce, and overall great flavor. The inside is pretty small. We managed to snag a seat in a small booth, but it’s a pretty popular place to be prepared to take your pie to go. The staff is friendly and happy and the pizza came out quite fast! We will definitely be back here again!

I liked it but I was hoping to love it. The folks are so friendly and lord knows that another pizza option is always welcome but I have to say that the jury is still out. I tried a pesto based pie and it was good but not memorable. I will be back on another day to try a more traditional style pie in the hope of being able to add another star. All in all, a place worth trying and on par with the best in the area but not the best I have had.
