Terhune Custom Homes

We had our home built by Terhune a few years ago. We have had very few «issues» that one typically gets in building a home. The one issue we did have was purely our doing, but installing the type of boiler/​water heater that we did. It cost alot to run it, but it was our issue by not asking the plumber more questions about cost. We coughed up the investment into a new tankless system and it has already paid for itself.
There was extra wiring and insulating that we wanted to do before the drywall was done. We were doing the work and buying the material ourselves. Terhune gave us the time window and we went in and did the work ourselves saving us money. They weren’t trying to «milk» us to do the work instead.
When we had any questions about something they would evaluate it and then find the answer we were looking for.
The only «hidden cost» was the county made us have an engineer look at our plans due to a bay window… no one expected that. So, I supposed it could have been «hidden». But, that was a government thing not Terhune.
I would use them again AND when I run into them in town they always say hello to my family and me.

Do yourself a favor, stay away from these jokers. Hidden costs, arrogant and poorly skilled management, price manipulation… Save yourself a whole lot of stress and go find another builder. You’ve been warned!
